Not my first stay in imperial. I spent a nice time but the quality (breakfast, flowers) is getting a little bit down. And it is a pity. Nevertheless’ I would like to mention the great service from Vinod who helped me a lot at the airport. I couldn’t get in because I had no boarding pass. My plane ticket in’ business class did not me allow to enter. We wanted the boarding pass and refused me to get in without it. Then I was stucked outside. Zéro pointé as we say in French for the airport organisation. Vinod did everything for me and I was then allowed to get the plane. Without him I do not know what would happen. And again zéro pointé for the airport
Amazing hotel, impeccable architecture, prompt service and luxurious accommodation. Unrivalled and simply the best. Restaurent and food was luscious, restaurant service was prompt. Well done keep up the great work
I stayed in the Imperial Hotel in Delhi for five nights and can honestly say it is the best hotel I ever stayed in. The facilities are top notch, the hotel is spotless and the staff were an absolute pleasure. A special mention for Ravinder who arranged for a personal item I had left behind me to be transported to my next hotel in Agra at no additional cost.
I stayed at the Imperial hotel for a week in August 2022. The hotel is beautifully styled and creates a luxury yet cozy feel. Staff were all very lovely and helpful. The concierge staff, Gagandeep, were incredibly helpful in making sure all transfer for our group were done seamlessly. Thank you very much.
I took my 13 year old son to India for the first time. The purpose of the trip was to see our family and give my son a sense of what India was like. I can say unequivocally that our stay at the Imperial was absolutely central to how much we loved our vist to India. The hotel reflects everything we love about India - the sense of kindness, joy, generosity and affection. Every person we encountered during our 9 day stay, treated us like we were the only guests at the hotel. The staff at the concierge, the restaurants, the pool, all seem to love what they do - and is apparent in how they interact with the guests. Mr. Niresh Kumar, was our chauffeur and showed us Delhi in a way that no guide or travel book ever could. We are eternally grateful to him and the hotel for extending such kindness to us. Same with the breakfast staff, particularly Mr. Manesh Dharavia, who made our breakfasts such a pleasant experience and a great way to start each day. We plan to visit India again in a few months and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. While there are other wonderful hotels in Delhi, the Imperial, in our opinion, stands alone in making us feel like we had returned home. Thank you very much for that, and much continued success in the future. Pam Singh and Robert James…
I took my daughter to visit Delhi first time and stayed at The Imperial. People, quality of service and Food was amazing. Mr Surinder Thakoor was kind enough to provide special food for My daughter who is allergic to Gluten. We will come back to this beautiful hotel and enjoy the great Indian Hospitality again.
Breakfast was delicious, to class service, room was clean, pool was great. I have a particular liking for Raghav. He even spend time helping us after we left the hotel! Give the man a salary raise. He is a star!
We are a London based family and we arranged a dinner party for 31 guests at the “San Gimignano” Restaurant in the Imperial Hotel, New Delhi on Saturday 30 March 2022. Mr Ameesh Pal Singh Bisht, the Restaurant Manager, assisted us with the choice of 5 courses, with half the guests having “gluten free” choice. He interacted with us while we were still in London and assured us of the flawless and seamless service. Our guests were very impressed with the choice of food, drinks and service extended to us. We have had such a positive feedback from our guests and they all are unanimously stating the same appreciation of the staff and the continuous flow of food and drinks. The staff were extremely courteous and ensured everyone had their choice of meal and drinks were poured as and when required. We were extremely impressed with the thoughtful and professional attitude of Mr Ameesh in addressing all our requirements. We were at no time made to have any concerns as Mr Ameesh and his staff addressed everything. We highly recommend the “San Gimignano” Restaurant, Mr Ameesh and his team to anyone who wishes to have a quality experience in hospitality. Well done! Thank you! Mr Ameesh and your team. Having stayed at a few Delhi properties I had high expectations for the Imperial, just days before my arrival I had an unfortunate communication situation. I want to thank Anil the duty manager and the breakfast restaurant staff for their excellent service but apart from this I’m afraid it’s a tired old property that needs to close down and invest some money for the future. Rooms grubby especially around toilet seat area,I showered with water backing up from drain in my first bedroom. I will only ever book a Taj or an Oberoi property in the future a class way and beyond.
It was my first visit to Delhi and I chose The Imperial as I appreciate heritage hotels over contemporary luxury. The Imperial breathes history throughout l, on par with Raffles Hotel Singapore and the E&O. Prior to the stay, the concierge assisted with all the necessary arrangements to ensure the arrival was seamless - I had two members of the hotel team meeting me at the airport. The concierge also arranged a car to and from Agra, which was helpful. From the moment of arrival to departure, Ankur was my butler who looked after every element of my stay and made sure that every preference was considered. I never even had to carry the room key as he was there to open the door. Without asking too many questions, he promptly realised all my dietary preferences and ensured I was very well looked after. Such service is a very rare example these days. Other members of the hotel’s team are also warm and genuinely caring without ever being intrusive. The gardens surrounding The Imperial are kept perfectly manicured and add the valuable dimension of space between the hotel and the city. Naturally, some parts of the hotel feel quite vintage, however I know the management is planning to look into this. I wish I spent more time at the hotel as it is a gorgeous place for a holiday.…
