We booked 3 rooms for 2 days in Delhi and had good time there. Rooms are big and neat. The tower and sheet are old but very clean. From hotel, it is easy to access metro yellow line. Neighborhood is great, several restaurants and coffee shop around. We found an incredible ice-cream shop nearby. The old manager and staff are caring and supportive.

I stayed in room 304 and paid 3,500 INR per night all inclusive. Room 304 has a balcony and overlooks a busy commercial street. There is street noise but it did not keep me from sleeping. The room has a king size bed, AC, ceiling fan, mid size flat screen TV with satellite programming, wifi and ample furniture. All furnishings are modern and in good condition, likewise in the bathroom. The room was clean enough and was serviced each day. I did have to burn coils the last night after the mosquitoes woke me up.

The location is good, in the Green Park Colony on a a street with many upscale restaurants, cafes, shops, spas and fruit stands. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Yellow Line, Green Park Metro station. There are more restaurant choices nearer to the metro station.

The included breakfast was pretty disappointing, milk, cereals, toast, eggs, tea and instant coffee. For the first time in my life, the boiled eggs were delivered peeled, which I found discomforting for some reason.

The staff was nice and helpful enough. The place has the feel of a homestay more than a hotel.

I thought the room was overpriced, so I moved to a nearby hotel after a few days. Maybe at 3,000 INR it would be better value.

I was in Delhi for seven weeks conducting research (I am an academic). It was my first time in India, and for those who have never been, India generally and Delhi in particular is very 'challenging': it is very chaotic, unrelentingly busy, dirty and polluted. But Delhi is also a very vibrant, fascinating and historic city. Every day someone will try to con you or rip you off, but the next person you meet will be very friendly. It is a land of extreme, every-day contradictions.

I would have struggled much more without all the help I had at the Rainbow Residency. They say they want to 'provide a 5-star experience at a reasonable price', and they succeed. While they don't have a gym or a pool or a restaurant, they do have: large, well appointed and clean rooms (with fridges); good internet; excellent bathrooms with continuous hot water (rare in Delhi); an excellent cable TV package; air conditioning; and excellent security. At under half the cost of a 5-star, this place is outstanding value for money.

The location is also excellent. The hotel is across the road from the Green Park Market, which has a half-dozen restaurants and take-away places, general stores, banks, chemists and fruit stalls. Hauz Kas Village is only 10mins walk away too, with another 20 or so restaurants from Indian to Thai to Italian. And a Delhi Metro stop is under 10mins away - this is a real bonus because Delhi roads are quite simply out-of-control - in a word, dangerous - and the traffic jams can be truly awful.

I also cannot rate the staff highly enough. Anil, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, the boys who clean the rooms are efficient and nice, but the star performer is Gopal, the manager. He is quite simply one of the nicest men I have ever met, he offers assistance for anything you need, and he is scrupulously honest. As a foreigner in a strange land Anil and Gopal sorted out every 'issue' I had (and I had a few, including being hospitalised for four nights).

I have only one critique - the kitchen in which the boys prepare breakfast could be kept cleaner, but I had a good talk to management about this and I expect it will improve. In short, I will be returning regularly to Delhi, and I will always stay at the Rainbow Residency.

In a posh locality of green park with lot of eateries around, a bit difficult to locate as the entrance is not a grand one. However, though the hotel is not that big but very effective in terms of cleanliness and with limited staffs. Breakfast is included in room rent and its a value for money in the heart of South Delhi.

I arrived around midnight and was given access through the single on-street access door by a security guard, despite the late arrival I had completed the check in process and was in my room 15 minutes later.

The clean rooms have all that you need for a short stay although traffic noise can be an issue in the front 2 rooms but as Green Park is a gated area all traffic is gone by about 11pm.

The location is great, the Rainbow Residency is located on a shopping strip allowing easy access to essential items and many cafes.

It is a very small b&b guest house with limited rooms. Caretaker / Manager Mr Das is very kind and helpful so as his whole team. Mr. Das was very caring throughout our stay.
Yummy breakfast...lot of restaurants and shopping places around. Easy puplic transport. Metro station for Green park is at walkable distance.
Generally this place is occupied with foreigners so they have continental breakfast. We were offered Aloo Parathas for breakfast and Evening snacks and tea once.

ONly difficuly is to find this address for first time. There is a very tiny board and super tiny entrance in a crowded area.. No elevator :(

Good: The staff is VERY welcoming and helpful with the luggage. Tasty breakfast. Bottle of water in the room. Fridge in the room. Common area is cosy. Location is best! Hotel is easy to find, with lots of cafes around. Relatively clean area.

Could be better: No window in a single room, no fresh air at all. Toilet flush kept breaking. A few little flies in the bathroom. Poor sockets. Towel hanger under the tab dropped the moment I touched it.) Cleaner moved the belongings on the tab surface. Long stairs. Lint roller - good to use for the bed linen all around India.

I had booked through Oyo . Reached a bit early but was denied an early check in. Initially the desk boy tried to fob off a small room to me but on my protest he gave me room number 304.
The room size was good with balcony overlooking the street. Bed linen was not up to the mark and the blanket cover had stains on it.
No restaurant in the property but plenty outside.
Person Manning front desk was a juvenile with no proper manners or knowledge. He told me that they did not accept card and so had to pay by cash.
The bathroom flush was not working and on my complaint the same desk boy turned into a mechanic and fixed it. But again early morning after using the loo I found that the flush was not working . Tried calling the reception but no response. I went down but found that the entire lobby and reception was unmanned. The front door locked and even getting out was not possible.
Breakfast was terrible with no worthwhile options.
At sharp 11 am the desk juvenile rudely told me to check out.
Overall an unpleasant stay.
