I went there with my boyfriend, we had booked on booking for a final price and they asked for more taxes later. When we arrived, at evening time, we decided to stay despite the fact that the place looked substandard. It looked like an old lady was making money by renting rooms in an illegal place (it is not registered / bounded by Indian laws). The place is dirty. The bathrooms are not clean. The room was ok for one night but not worth its price. She asked for us to go out to make copy of our ID, which is normally her duty. She gave (and had) no receipt for the payment we did on our arrival. She kept asking where we were from, how long we knew each other. We had finally been relaxing for 10 minutes when her son came into our room to ask for more money, pretending he had to pay some commission to the website. It was a complete lie, just a way to ask for money (he knew it was late to find a place for the night) or make us get out of there, as he said racist things against my bf to his mother saying "he will do bad things" and that foreigners were not allowed to stay with Indians in his place, and more non-senses and racist attitude. Very dishonest. Super bad attitude. Bad place with no good environment. Illegal. Don't ever go there.…
Nodi-san, I can't give you 5 stars. We use there as travel agency but it was toatally dissatisfied.
We ara Italians, and we stay here for 10 days, it is a small family managment hose Very good position, close to new train station and a vibrant area, quiete place, Good and clean room, with confortable open air space. An exelent budget place
One of the most worst hotel owner i have seen. Booked the hotel by booking.com,just when i almost reached the hotel,a message appeared on phone, saying booking is cancelled by the hotel for no reason.Still i went to the hotel and reprimanded the owner, and the hotel was the dirtiest one and there was bad smell in the whole hotel. It was like a hell.Hell!!
Having stayed in a cheap, non-AC hotel the night before, I was not looking forward to another uncomfortable night. But Ever Green had a convenient location and an even better price, and though it was a little difficult to find at first, it turned out to be well worthwhile. The room was small but sufficient. Personally I enjoyed the comfortable size and the placement above a busy street that I could watch from the window. The fan did its work satisfactorily. Two nights were well-spent, and I was happy to be there. It was one of the better guest rooms I have visited in a long while. The staff was friendly, though a bit bossy, and overall I appreciated their open communication. It's a family-run business, and I would have liked to get to know the family better. They seemed very nice. Excellent place to stay if you're passing through New Delhi. I would come again.…
The only good thing about this place is the location. Well, that being close ish to the train station. The actual guest house is location in a dodgy alleyway, none of the taxi drivers knew where this place was. The guy at the guesthouse was not very welcoming or friendly, just very keen to get paid as his only objective. The room was like sleeping in an over. And yes I know, it's India, it's hot and so on. But, I have slept in many places in India with no a/c, and this was the worst by far. Booking a deluxe room and got a small prison cell. The room was large enough for a bed and 1 person.. that's it. The fan is the worst, the outside temperature was so much nicer than inside the room. Stay a few extra $$$$ and stay somewhere else. I'ts really not worth it. Sheets were dirty, didn't look like they had been cleaned for a long time.…
The owner was pretty obsessed with money and getting paid before we had even taken our bags off. When we got into the room it was booked as a deluxe room. It was basically enough room for the bed and then 1 metre then the door. So hardly any room. The shower wasnt working so i ended up cleaning under the tap! We had been through india for about 3 weeks and we had been to a lot hotter places... but this room was basically like a steam room. It felt horrible when you breathed in the humid air. There is a fan in the room but it was weaker than a 90 year old blowing out his birthday candles Both of us pretty much didnt sleep at all the whole night and couldnt wait to get out of there It is advertised as having wifi. but it didnt work for us, even after we had asked the owner to fix it…
