Its a nice hotel. Although the room looks big in picture but they are not that big. The staff is very friendly which I liked.
Its very near to metro station and outside, there are a lot of restaurants.

Booked through net and paid money in advance after inquiring on phone about the location and facilities in a budget amount. On all counts, this was perfect. Good clean room, reception lobby, floor lobbies, lift, and rooftop restaurant. Karol bag metro station is just on walking distance from where you can reach to any corner of delhi in no time. Just down the hotel, you will find restaurants, shops, temples, juices ice creams , chhats etc. hotel staff is polite and cooperative- ready to assist and guide you to enjoy your delhi stay.

I don't understand how all online portal has given good for this hotel. We all were in group But it's horrible stay for all of us. They provided such a bakwas food and the owner was very much rude while check in. Not atol good for family stay. No parking facilities also. All room furniture were broken and rooms were very much dirty. Stay in sarthak palace was like nightmare. Never goto this kind of hotel with family.

Whether it is a 5 star or a 3 star Hotel, what one looks for in the environment is safety and hygiene. Hotel Sarthak Palace lacks BOTH!
HYGIENE ISSUES:
The room is nicely presented on day 1. Although the bathroom lacks maintenance. The toilet seat we got was falling apart literally coming out of the bowl. Major Hygiene Violation for a lady.
On day 2, we left the key at the reception for housekeeping. However, it was never done. Our food left over from the previous night was still sitting there 16 hrs later after coming back to the hotel (around midnight).
SAFETY ISSUES:
Following day 2, at around 1:30 am, we get a call from the reception asking us to step out urgently, then the caller closed the call (hung up). We were not sure what was going on, then opened the door and there was a cloud of smoke and GAS smell. NO Smoke Detectors... (ok, we are in India, maybe that is not enforced by law... ok... but why wouldn't the caller just say it the way it is "We have a fire by the restaurant, you need to get out!!!" (Later, we heard not everyone got the phone call alert).
No emergency exit for the rooms... we all had to use the single staircase option.
In-the-meantime, their "Hot n Yummy" Restaurant on the first floor of the Hotel, next to the lobby was on fire due to a flammable leak (while the business was closed).
No evacuation plan. 20 minutes later, the worker/manager in charge stated that the smoke from the top floor was gone and we were safe to get our personal items and even REST... unless he meant Rest-In-Peace... we went back in and the Gas Smell was very strong with smoke...
To make the long story short, a few of us people who stayed in this dumpster, decided to get rooms in the hotel across the street which was more affordable than Sarthak Palace, yet a hygienic 3 start hotel. ***food prices cheaper too and bigger portions***
Sarthak's service is slow too...
Please do not come to this place... even if Travel Agents like "India Tourism" assigns you to this hotel... push back!

We booked this hotel via Expedia after reading some of the reviews. It was an absolute disaster.
We arrived late at night after a very long trip. The guy at the reception was very rude and impolite ( the older guy working the next day was much nicer). We had booked an executive room ( the highest category they have) and got a dirty windowless box. Dirty, stuffy, dusty, stained sheets... The next day we asked to change to one with a window. That one had some funny bugs in the bathroom.. Stained sheets again and dirty and dusty again. Thank god we had our own sheets.
They ask you to call the reception before going to the roof restaurant for breakfast. We always did and that made no difference as no one had anything ready for us. The second day we waited over30 minutes for toasts ( that's all you get) and almost missed our flight.
The same guy who checked us in was now checking us out. We were already late and he was rude and trying To do everything on purpose to slow down the check out and try to find something to charge us for. He finally tried to rip us off for extra bottles of water . Would never go back.

One of the best hotel in karol bagh. Courteous staff, quick service & very clean rooms. Enjoyed the stay. One of the best part is that its very near to the main karol bagh market, just a walking distance.
