I would highly recommend Amaaya Bed and Breakfast for new travelers to India. I traveled with my 16 year old daughter to India this summer. We arrived in the middle of the night and Ruuma arranged a driver to pick us up. It was very...More
We are a couple with a three-year-old and we stayed at Amaaya for ten days. We couldn't have had a better experience. Ruuma is a wonderful proprietor, and the room itself - attractively furnished, well air conditioned, and with a view of the leafy neighborhood...More

The guest house is lovely, breezy and tropical-feeling. A home-like atmosphere. The rooms were charming, clean, and spacious. Wi-fi, too. Ruuma was charming and helpful. The breakfast was superb. We never needed much lunch after feasting on omelets, toast, marmelade and tea. Absolutely terrific.
The Amaaya guest house is lovely, clean, and comfortable. After a day touring around Delhi in the heat, we retreated to Amaaya and sat out on the beautiful roof top garden, sipping Chai, enjoying the breeze, and looking over the city. We felt at home...More
Another popular upmarket residential neighbourhood of Delhi with many small parks and home to expats, Nizamuddin is most famous for the Sufi shrine, Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah. It’s a beautiful confluence of faith, heritage and contemporary Delhi. The busy streets leading to the dargah offer a rich cultural
and culinary taste of Delhi, especially on Thursday evenings when the area comes alive with soulful Sufi music and qawwalis at the shrine. As you walk along the colourful street markets selling flowers and knick-knacks, the road ahead further leads to the majestic Humayun’s Tomb, a significant historical landmark and one of Delhi’s best attractions.
