Detailed Reviews
Great place, nice room, clean bathroom, had all the toiletries, has a 24 hr kitchen. The breakfast had a decent spread.
We booked 3 rooms, 2 were amazing - no complaints and if it had been just that we would have given it 5 star rating.
The 3rd room, however, had not been aired out after the previous guest and had a strong smoke smell, so make sure to ask for a non-smoking room before getting allotted one.
Good and responsive staff. Great location.
Good steal for the price!

If you are looking at economical rates, clean rooms, clean toilet and decent homely food then you can look into this hotel. Ideal for a transit one night stay. It’s conveniently located. Some might find the rooms a bit small but that’s individual choice.

Centrally located and very caring staff are the two cornerstone of the hotel. Very close to good tourist spots but away from metro station which will require a short walk.
Rooms are a bit small but decently decorated. The shower is great but the breakfast definitely needs an upgrade.
Overall a good stay experience.

Celebrated Birthday Party in this hotel and was very impressed with the service. The staff was very courteous, prompt and accommodating. Food was good and the location was easy to search for the guests. Hall was clean and well equipped with Ballon Decoration, DJ.

Don’t believe the official photos! This is a very strange hotel and is squashed in between buildings - not as the photographs appear. Reception staff are not welcoming, friendly or helpful. The check in process is painful. Reception area is grim and dated, except at nighttime the moving LED lights and plants are pleasant. Rooms are better - quiet and generally clean. Bathrooms are modern but could do with a good clean and scrub. The fridge was so noisy I had to turn it off at night and the safe was broken. However I slept well and the twin beds were small but comfortable. The restaurant is dated, dark and grim and the food and drink is generally poor. Ok for a quick couple of days and that’s it. Worked out at £125 for two nights - not as cheap as it should be.

A pleasure trip to Delhi is probably best lived in Safdarjung Enclave and Iris Park is an excellent bed n breakfast. Clean rooms, central location, decent food make it a pragmatic choice. Depending on promotion deals one gets, the cost though can be a win or lose. For a single person, I thought it was a little steep but if you are sharing it with a friend, this hotel can be perfect 'value for money'.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We have aimed to create a fully staffed low-cost hospitality product, different from some of the self-service formats currently in vogue, with pricing not very much different from ours. The hotel is located at a location that is understandably an envious one, in the heart of South Delhi, not at the areas bordering the Airport as well as away from South Delhi's infamous traffic congestion. It is nearly equidistant from the Airport, the business districts of Connaught Place and Nehru Place. We have three categories of rooms, each priced different from the other. On your next visit, do let us know in advance and we would like to offer you the Economy Room (generally not offered online), ideal for the single traveler on a budget discipline and I shall make sure you do not need to depend on the fluctuations in online prices. We also have our own cars so if you are here on holiday the next time, one can offer you the same to help create a turnkey experience at very reasonable prices. Thanking you again for your comprehensive review and looking forward to serving you again soon Best wishes, Aashish

Once we enter the hotel, then it is above average, below good. However the location is kind of middle of nowhere. There are very little shopping area - wanted to buy some dress as I had forgotten to carry, however could not find anything in the vicinity.
Within the hotel, the service takes some time, very few toileteries are provided in the bath, and in the winter the un-carperted tile floor is too cold to walk without slippers, which are not provided. Wifi is too slow and had to use my own data card.

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting a review. About the very few toiletries provided, our bathrooms are equipped with a moisturizer, a bath gel and a shampoo apart from a general purpose hand-wash soap. A hair dryer apart from bath linen is standard provision with replenishment and sewing kits and all-purpose kits on request. As for the location being in the middle-of-nowhere, one can't help but seriously wonder what your definition of a good location or somewhere would be. Rather than justify the location of this hotel, one feels that referring to the map of Delhi and choosing an appropriate hotel on the basis of the purpose of the visit would be a good idea.

Rooms are decent in size, beds are a bit small. Bathroom are well appointed. Food served is value for menu, room service is a bit slow. Well secuired hotel.

Since it's in Posh South Ex - it's got a hefty price tag. Nothing wrong with the hotel other than it's super average - from food, to service to the Wi-Fi speed.
Breakfast Buffet was same almost every day and the 'good' coffee was extra (paid).
Rooms are strictly okay. Once we booked a triple occupancy and they forgot about the 3rd bed till midnight and kater force fitted it into the room - after removing all the chairs and coffee table! Was super uncomfortable - Just book another room!
There's a lot of options available in the Safdarjung area and while this look Swanky, there's no other reason to repeat.

We are posting the response to this review delayed due to a tragedy that occurred with one of our team members, without interviewing whom, this investigation would not be deemed complete. A few points that need clarification: The guests were booked by our corporate client after due negotiations for a marriage function and hence the 'hefty price tag' is not a point that merits any discussion as the tariff was neither discussed with the guests of the host nor was the guest expected to pay anything other than any optional extras. The good coffee alluded to as extra is clearly displayed on the table top cards as well as in the menu cards. So the same is not served with any hint of a projection as though it were complimentary and later charged for. The guest was personally shown the rooms in the East Wing where it was, before check in, informed to her that as a standard practice, only the West Wing Rooms could accommodate an extra bed and the request for an extra bed in the East Wing Rooms would necessitate removal of the coffee-table and chairs. The guest, now fully aware, agreed to the same as she liked only the East Wing room. Hence, the projection of inconvenience is also not correct as facts were made very clear to her before she checked-in. The establishment is stated to be in posh South Ex. in the first line of the review. We clarify that it ought to read as Safdarjung Enclave, where the hotel is actually located.

Dear friends this was my second stay at this hotel in last 4 months. The first visit was for 5 days with my manager for a business trip and then now with my family for one week. As usual in April it was intolerable heat outside and had tough time managing sightseeing but we still did it. The plus point was this hotel where we stayed. Its a small hotel in residential area , away from busy markets or old Delhi. With family we didnot want any area dangerous or intimidating. After these horrifying incidents which we read and hear every day in news paper I was worried but this particular hotel has that advantage of good location, good connectivity, good people and safety.
Rooms are bit small but neatly maintained. Good AC and good room service. Breakfast was a little disappointment. There was hardly any change in the menu. Sometimes we felt that are they serving yesterday's left over or what ( of course food was freshly made )? Instead of fresh fruit juices they kept canned fruit juices which are sugar syrups and no nutritional value except empty calories. if they improve breakfast a little, it will help.
Front desk is OK and helpful. They had arranged pick-up and drop so we were happy. With kids and family you donot want to be hassled by rough taxi / auto drivers.
Hotel manager is a nice person and that was something really noticeable. He greeted us personally everyday and recognized that it was our second visit. One day while we were leaving for sightseeing in the morning he advised us that it will be very hot by the time we reach some points and we should carry enough bottles of mineral water and he himself brought 3 bottles and insisted that we take them, complimentary !! That was a real nice gesture and made us feel at home.
All in all a very satisfactory stay and we will definitely come back. A small suggestion though, that they should improve on Breakfast menu ( especially guests with family would appreciate that ) and if they can offer some welcome drink, especially in hot season it will be great !!!

Dear Mr. Jalan, Thank you for taking time out to post that very detailed review. Yes, one remembers one's very brief interaction with you and being health conscious oneself, one gets into the habit of asking those around to remain hydrated, specially in your case as you were going for a sightseeing visit at the onset of what still is a very hot summer. I would like to apologize that you weren't offered our best welcome drink yet. In Summers, we offer a very traditional "aam panna" that is, perhaps, the most ideal for such weather for guests stepping in from the heat. I will make sure that you try it on your next visit (in Summer). Though we shifted to the best branded fruit juices, I know what you mean by empty calories. Regrettably, one cannot offer freshly extracted fruit juices as one needs to operate with a very thin staff, owing to the format of the services. One of the less healthy beverages seems to be a great favourite and is actually demanded by most of our guests, hence, we replaced the branded juice with it, something that you noticed. This Winter, we will be offering two tetra-pack based juices with the fruit flavoured, very popular, though less healthy option. Our aim is to offer Iris Park as a full-service, low-cost option with least gimmicks with least fluctuation in tariff to the guest who is looking for an option that is not only central in location, but offers a degree of safety with a reliable team. The Iris Park guest should not have to think twice about a freshly cooked meal in case his flight landing is delayed to midnight, or standing in line for cab at the airport. Again, I extend my thanks to you for giving us an opportunity to be of service and I wish you a better experience on your next visit. Best wishes, Aashish
