I stayed here for 2 nights. guess what? no restaurant. So they serve you cold aloo paratha and cold sandwich for breakfast from some nearby restaurant. The room smells of cigarette smoke, so i got a headache. since there was no restaurant, I went to have food outside and was late for checkout by 2 hours. so they decided to charge me for it, very rudely. U HAVE TO PAY!. and guess what the receptionist did with the money? he pocketed it and was chatting about it with his friend on his mobile phone since he thought i didnt understand hindi. Great. So dont stay here. find some other hotels,. u will get plenty for the same price.

Cosy Palace was neither cosy nor a palace. The sheets weren't fresh - they had clearly been slept in as there were hairs in the bed. The towels were grey, and the bathrooms very old. The toiletries were laughable - it would be better to just not provide any. We changed rooms almost immediately. The hotel was noisy - we were right next to the kitchen in our (2nd) room. We had a window opening out onto the air vent shaft, so almost no natural light. I'm not sure what the exit strategy would've been in a fire. Our requests for clean sheets were apparently understood but never actioned. We left after 1 night (instead of 3). Although it was relatively budget by UK standards, it wasn't cheap for India.
