Detailed Reviews
A very nice looking hotel with a clean room and bathroom. The breakfast was good, nevertheless it would be better if there was more options to eat.
The only issue we had was our room’s door. When we leave and close it, anybody could open it while it was locked, but in the end Aura’s personnel managed to solve the problem.
Finally we met a good traveling agent who offered us a good looking travel schedule.
I recomend this hotel.

My friends and I came here twice.
On our first visit, it was pretty good, the food and the room was decent.
We were on third floor so for us to use the wifi we had to go down to the lobby (it was too weak in the room).
So we decide to go for a second time after our trip to Jaipur.
We searched on booking.com and the price was actually cheaper than what we have paid.
So we called into ask if we could get the room for the price listed in booking.com for tmr night.
They said they will offer us the same deal and we would have to pay them there.
However, when we went there, they charged us the price that they charged us on the first day (which was like 500 more rupees). In CAD, it may not be much but we were all short in budget and in Indua, 500 rupees meant a lot. We argued with them but they were like no this is what you have to pay for.
So we ended up paying the same amount as on the first day!!

Three of us stayed in this hotel for 5 nights during January 2012. The weather was cool with sunshine and highest temperatures mainly from midday to 3pm and sun setting around 5.30pm Average temperatures around 15c. We booked this hotel through expedia.co.uk but understood a direct boooking with the hotel would have been slightly cheaper. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport. The name of the town is Paharaganj which is just 5 minutes from the New Delhi metro station. Connaught Place, Karol Bagh and Chandni Chowk are all between 5 - 15 minutes taxi ride away.
Upon arrival to the airport we did not recive our free hotel pick up as was requested through expedia. However the hotel staff sincerely apologised and we was satisfied with their attempt to resolute the problem by paying for the taxi which we had to order at the airport.
We was greeted by staff and showed to our room, there was small problem with the room being not as we expected but as soon as we addressed this the management, namely Kampeet provided us with the room to suit our needs. Rohit was also helpul in this situation.
Throughout our stay we have been overwhelmed with the courtersy the staff show and attention provided to any enquiries.
The hotel provide free buffet breakfast comprimising of a small but good quality food including english and indian choices.
The hotel was very kind in offering to serve us breakfast to our hotel early in the morning (6am) as we had planned to set off to Agra for the day trip to see the Taj Mahal.
There is a excursions expert based in the hotel who provides foreign currency which we found accessible and useful. The member of staff is Sandeep and he also provided taxis for touring and one way trips. Sandeep also provides useful travel advice.
The hotel was cleaned and tided everyday and overall cleansiness of the hotel standards were high for a 3 star hotel.
A very good plus point of this hotel is that you will be given free access to wireless internet which meant we was able to stay in contact with family and friends from the UK using Skype.
The staff, hotel building and distance to attractions made our stay in this hotel pleasurable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Enjoy your stay!

We stayed at the Hotel Aura on our first night in India. We arranged to be picked up from the airport and was taken in a car not owned by the hotel. We waited around for ages and then the driver pilled lots of random people not staying at our hotel into our car which was quite intimidating. The driver drove really badly which was quite scary and when we left the car, the driver asked us to pay again even though we had already paid. Arriving at the hotel I told the Manager what had happened he didn't seem to be at all bothered. The porter was the only person that seemed remotely bothered. The room smelt like fuel It was really awful, and to top off our time at this hotel they were meant to arrange a train for us to travel to Agra which they didn't do even though the person I was speaking to from the hotel said it was done. So this ruined our next day and changed our whole onward plans. A Journey to Agra which should have taken 1hr 30mins took us over 5 hours.
The only positive was the porter who helped us arrange our uber the next day and a man from the hotel who I was speaking with about the train, he seemed very helpful and apologetic.
We were due to stay again but cancelled the bookings.

I would rate 0 or -5 for this hotel worst hotel stay ever. They charge a bomb but the hotel is pathetic. It was a small room were the HVAC was connected with room and the washroom togather and obviously the bathing odar was spreading throughout the room and bathing kit was not working and I had informed the staff several te but no one turned back looking into this. Room service was pathetic and the front office manager was the worst person to be placed at the front desk. I would say it waste of money staying in this hotel it's not coustom friendly.

The beds are terrible, not comfortable and not clean it was a horrible night
The smell is terrible specially from the sheets.
The AC sound doesn't let you sleep and it blows directly at you
It's so Little space for 2 people
The street doesn't feel safe
No safe to put the valuables in
Bathroom not clean
Outside noise gets inside of the room too much That Woke me up in the middle of the night
The bed is so small hit my toes to the iron bed frame many times
Someone was throwing up next room it was like it was in my face
Someone Tried to open the door in the middle of the night but luckily the door has a manual iron lock. We booked for 3 nights as a Rookie mistake, we checked out early morning second day didn't refund the 2 nights and we didn't even care we just couldn't take this place anymore. the smell of the inside was so horrible that we didn't even dare to check the breakfast buffet. I was sick for 2 days after the night spent in here.

We went to the Aura bar three nights in the row. We had excellent service from Sanjeev and the other staff members. Prompt arrival of drinks, and everything was handled with great care. one night we had food, the hara masala fish was exquisite, so tender and flavourful. The cajun fries were great too. Overall amazing experienced which we will deffos reccomend to family and friends. Thanks so much to all the staff at the Aura bar :)

Two days before our scheduled reservation, I received an email indicating that my reservation for a king size bed was "modified" and that our room would have two queens. I called and told them that I made the reservation partly because of the king bed. The receptionist told me that it was an upgrade. I told her that it was not for me, and that there were plenty of other area hotels that will have a king bed. I cancelled. I then called Hotel 1550 and placed reservations both for the room I just cancelled and for the night we were scheduling for our next San Francisco layover.
I then called the Aura and cancelled the second night. The receptionist asked why and I told her. She asked if I would, instead, call the other hotel and cancel the other reservations. I said no. The hotel immediately sent me confirming emails for both cancellations.

I think, they will adjust.
yes, with thier suit room there is free pick up onluy, no drop. and its not free. There is a 150 rs parking fee that is collected by the driver
We had booked the executive room which had a normal bathtub, but after we found cockroaches in that room we got another room without a bathtub, only shower. Though we were quite happy about that since the condition/cleanliness of the bathroom in the first room was not that great... We stayed at Hotel Aura in June 2015.
