We stayed for one night during December cold winter. Even after paying extra for a room heater, they provided one which didn't work at all. After requesting to change the heater they just kept asking us to wait more time so that heater will come into effect. And the street it is located is a very busy market with garbage thrown on the roads. Wouldn't recommend to a family.

Dear Sir Thanks to give your valuable feedback against your accommodation with us. In terms of your lowest marks and complains there is a question that you spent 3-4 night at a place whom you gave lowest marks (1 out of 5) that means the hotel was not suitable for you at all, although lot of option were available there, what was the reason to stuck there? As per our record we did not get any complain from you during your stay at hotel. Just 1st day on arrival you complained about heating system installed in your room on demand which naturally take 10-15 minute to label the temp of room & that worked accordingly. Regarding location as it is in heart of Delhi, Connaught place is just 1km away from hotel, and New Delhi Railway station & R K Ashram Metro station both are just 500mtr away from hotel, well connectivity to everywhere in Delhi by buses, trains, metros, taxis! What else people need? The best part of this Hotel is that the best hotel of Paharganj is available at lowest price. Normally market is well cleaned but as it is business place & naturally road gets dirty till night which routinely get clean at every morning. Hotel’s responsibility to keep their premises neat & clean & we maintain it properly. It was unnecessary lower marks given by your good self which affect the reputation of hotel. Being an intellectual you should introspect about the marks given by you, certainly it is not justification with hotel. Wish you to visit us again; we will do our best to make a comfortable stay all the time.

I was here 10 years ago and it was nice. If they had upgraded in the last decade it might still have been nice. Shower starts cold for 5 mins, then fluctuates. Rooms very tired as are mattresses. Lots of noise from within hotel, reception staff are very sullen. Yes it's Jan, but rooms towels sheets are all damp, even the freshly requested are damp, and to top things off dual pricing is alive and kicking with foreigners charged about double.. you will undoubtedly have a better stay and sleep in a 500rp guest house

Excellent service from almost all staff. Nice and well-maintained clean rooms. Though it is situated on a crowded market road, once you enter the hotel it is all taken care. All our requests were addressed on time. They have a 24-hour restaurant which serves tasty, hygienic food. The only negative is their travel desk, I booked an Airport pick-up and paid close to double the amount of Uber and the taxi that I got from them was a dusty, old Local Taxi., while the driver was extremely polite the car was not.!! I request management to look into it. But, having said that I will surely visit this hotel again.

Nice, clean hotel in a good location within walking distance to New Delhi Station. Staff were very helpful. There is a travel desk which helped us change money for a very good rate and get a SIM card (600 rupees for 28 day with data, call and text). Restaurant was decent as well. The rooms have limited sound proofing so we were woken up by very loud guests one night unfortunately. Other than that we had a good stay.

Hotel Hari Piorko is a classic affordable hotel with neat rooms.The Amenities provided in the room are excellent, the food provided is quite costly and takes more time to reach the room or we can go and directly have food.They also provide trip package which is affordable and includes almost all important tourist places.All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Though there are some negative thoughts spreading about this hotel, according to my experience of 1 day stay i felt this to be a very traveler friendly hotel.In my experience,i prebooked the room before reaching Delhi but an auto driver confused me saying this hotel is not good.But i felt it to be a highly recommendable hotel which is in the main area very close to Railway station,Market etc.

It's on one of the most chaotic streets on the planet, Main Bazar of Pahargunj. But the hotel inside is quite calm and relaxing. The staff are polite and helpful. The corridors are dimly lit, but it isn't a big problem. As the hotel is not well ventilated (probably to keep off the dust from the surrounding area), there is a bit of stuffy smell. Some rooms are more spacious than others even when they fall in the same category. I spotted some small cockroaches in the rooms, so make sure you keep the zippers of your bags closed all the time. Bathrooms are clean and well-equipped. Overall the rooms are quite good and offer a comfortable stay.
The restaurant upstairs is good with lots of options. But plan ahead as they take a good amount of time to serve you your food as they start preparing it from the scratch once you order.
On the whole, it can be considered upscale for the area of Paharganj and so it's very good value for your money.

I chose H.P. because it’s close to Connaught Place, it’s in a lively road and it’s easy walking distance from New Delhi Station where I was arriving after Kolkata. Also, maybe most importantly, I had a fairly early B.A. flight from IGAirport and the Express Metro runs from New Delhi and gets there in an air conditioned seventeen minutes(ps the Metro is v cheap as well, unlike London and starts running at 04:45). My stay overlapped with Krishna’s birthday celebrations which involved ten large marching bands etc and I didn’t hear a thing until I got to Reception! Incidentally the Reception men were incredibly efficient and charming despite being v busy for a lot of the time. The masseur and, I guess, the masseuse (who acted as booker) was v good and sorted out my lower back pain most reasonably - Rs1500. Breakfast was, for me, fruit, muesli and yoghurt plus milky coffee though there was a wide choice. Room service was swift and the menu was cheap. Hot water, comfortable, big bed. It’s not even vaguely posh but it tries v hard and I enjoyed being there as they were nice people, working hard. Laundry was v reasonable and returned quickly.

Due to last minute changes I took a room here as a walk-in and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was scrupulously clean and quite luxurious with a comfortable bed and pristine bathroom. The WiFi was excellent and the staff were courteous and professional. My changed plans involved me having to wait all of the next day in Delhi and take a 04:30 in the morning flight. I used their secure luggage storage facility as they were fully booked the next day but while waiting in the reception to go to the airport at around midnight I discovered my flight had been cancelled. The night manager very kindly gave me a huge family twin room that was left over at a heavily discounted rate so I could at least sleep. I have a little experience of Delhi/Pahar Ganj hotels and I can safely say that that kind of decency is not the norm. I'll certainly stay here again.

Hotel Hari Piorko is situated near the train station in a very busy part of town: walk out of it into the hussle and bussle of New Delhi life. That said, the hotel itself is an oasis of calm with the staff providing an excellent fuss free service. There is also an in-house travel agent whose exchange rates a far better than the airport's and who can arrange very enecomical taxi services. The only reason that I have not given it 5 out of 5 is that some of the rooms are a little tired by western standards: that said, I do not believe that Hotel Hari Piorko can be beaten for value for money.
