We had a fabulous stay at the Lodhi hotel. All the staff are wonderful and very helpful. The hotel was an oasis in the busy city. The spa is fantastic after a days touring. The special star award goes to Punkit from the hotel who helped us through the queues at Delhi airport. Without his assistance we would have missed...

The building and rooms are ok, but short of good maintanance. Poor service, often unable to find anyone at the front desk. Food quality very poor and expensive. Recommend only to your enemies. Useless managers. Only chauffeurs and door men were sincerely helpful.

The hotel gave both me and my guest food poisoning on two separate occasions - this ruined more than half of my trip. The concierge was not very good and ignored our emails which meant we missed out on restaurant reservations. The room size is big however I wouldn't use the pool as I saw pigeons swimming in ours. The...

The Lodhi is in part an architectural design piece and part art museum but then becomes a stunning business and couples hotel The restaurant was fantastic. Brilliant service, perfectly made cocktails and a substantial drinks list. The Asian fusion food was a great break from strong Delhi tastes and the decor was wonderful The rooms were well designed , the...

Beautiful hotel. Got upgraded to the 8th floor, junior suite with a balcony and plunge pool, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, etc etc 823A I think. No view of Delhi as the weather was abnormally wet and foggy but it would have been good. Great sleep quality with sliding wooden shutters to block out light. I would have given the...

Tried the Sunday buffet here. Had some really good options available plus the ambience is some what to die for! Pretty romantic, can be a setup for a perfect date! Otherwise suitable for all types of occasions. Plus very convenient location too.

Arguably the best luxurious hotel in Delhi but definitely the best in terms of service, food and location. I generally don't spend time on writing reviews but the exceptional services my parents got from Mr. Jitender (room service) and Mrs. Deepti ( spa section) while celebrating their 40th anniversary here compelled me to do so. Each and every person in...

We arrived in Delhi early in the morning and our fantastic experience with the Lodhi staff started already at the airport. In the arrival hall, we were met by a hotel representative who effectively guided us to the hotel car. As we arrived early in the morning, our room was not ready for check in, but we were given another...

The Lodhi is the perfect escape from the noise/hustle and bustle from Delhi life. We were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment and the space is gigantic. The best thing is the private heated plunged pool and the sun bed. I could lie there all day. Breakfast is a la carte (although secretly I wish it was buffet). And food...

Absolutely stunning hotel, we had a beautiful room at the 8th floor with a marvelous pool; breathtaking. Also the staff has been very helpful. The hotel is very modern style and has all the amenities that you search for and then more. We highly appreciated the espresso machine and exquisite tea selection in our room. During Diwali the hotel has...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Previously the Aman New Delhi, The Lodhi opened 1 February 2013 as a boutique city property reflecting all the values of an Aman resort with a dynamic, new interpretation of simple and easy luxury. Centrally located on nearly seven acres on the "green" edge of Lutyens or Imperial Delhi and across the road from the Delhi Golf Course, The Lodhi offers a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants, courtyards and public areas but also the seclusion, peace and club- like atmosphere of the seven floors of guest accommodation. Located close to the Lodhi Gardens with old trees and beautifully designed and built tombs dating from the Lodhi era (1451 to 1526), The Lodhi is 10 minutes from the center of New Delhi (Connaught Place), some 40 minutes from the International Airport and close to many neighborhood shopping precincts. There are several food and beverage outlets in The Lodhi. All rooms and suites were extensively renovated in 2012. All rooms and suites have their own private plunge pool and secluded balconies. ... more   less
