When I called the hostel I was told the maximum charged would be 650 rs per night but I saw a booking opportunity on MMT so I booked it over there then when I reached to the hostel. They told me that they do not have any vacancy in that dorm and no Refunds were provided. They told me to pay 1000 rs more to even stay in the hostel. I had already paid 750 on MMT so 1000+750= 1750 rs for two nights but even when we conclude that they took 650 per night means I just needed to pay 1300 to them. This hostel is terrible and scamming people constantly.

Great place to get along with people from around the world. Nice rooms, quiet common areas with a TV and equipments and books and all that you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are super amazing here.

Great place,good prices, food available at reasonable cost. Clean and neat. Helpful staff, good for foreign travelers. Love their dogs! I've stayed before and was happy then, so I go back. Airport is some distance but Uber is available.

I would like to share my experience as I have stayed in Amigos India hostel, The hostel was ok, but something happened during my check out and didn’t like the situation. I gave one of the owners (Avinash) 3250 Rupees to send it to my friend through his mobile as i wouldn't be able to do that, the problem is that he sent 1350 Rupees only, he said “I sent one three five zero” but I didn’t concentrate when he said it that way, I didn’t think he’ll try to fool me, but once I noticed; I asked him to send the rest of amount or to get my money but he said that I gave him only 1350 Rupees, it was from his phone so obviously he put the money in his pocket, but when I asked him to check the money he said I put in the drawer with the hostel money, then he ignored me, then he told me I gave the money to Manisha (another owner) and I did not check how much it was, when I asked Manisha said it was 1350 Rupees, really I feel that I have been fooled, because I remember so well the notes (6 notes 500/ 2 notes 100 and one note 50) but he said that I gave him one note 200 which is completely wrong, I remember so well what I already gave him. Be careful most of Indians will cheat you if they got the chance even if you think that they are looking good. One more thing they don’t have fixed rate, I traveled somewhere but when I came back they raised the price and their excuse was that my bed was the last one but after that I found out that they fooled me and 4 beds were available already as guests checked out same day. I owe Avinash 1900 rupees…
