We were attended to promptly and with great kindness. The next day, when we tried to connect for remote work, the Wi-Fi wasn't cooperating. However, after a quick chat with the reception, they immediately started looking for a solution, and within an hour, we had a high-speed internet connection, problem-free.
They have a tour desk where you can get train and bus tickets, as well as book tours around the area. The room was spacious and clean, with a tidy bathroom and a hot shower.
The restaurant's food was delicious, and if you ask for it without spicy, they genuinely prepare it that way. Next time, I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt.
One can find better place within this range.
I checked and saw the rooms in Hotel Sita International, Hotel Today International, both of which had beautiful rooms but which seemed a bit overpriced to me. I finally settled on checking into Hotel Jindal International, where we got a good deal because we agreed to stay for 7 nights.
However, after 3-4 days itself, we decided that it was time for us to move out from the hotel.
For the remainder of our stay in Delhi, which was almost 16 more nights, I was able to find a great deal in Hotel Sita through goStays by goibibo or through MakeMyTrip. Since we did not know whether we would be continuing in Delhi for so long, I did the initial 7 days through goibibo and then did some 4-5 daily extensions through MMT and then another 4 nights through goibibo and cleartrip.
The stay in Hotel Sita was really great. Though the room which we got on booking through goibibo was not the one which I had seen earlier, which was really grand and was around 2200 per night, the room we got through goibibo was a bit smaller but quite good. The king-sized bed had clean sheets, the decor was great, there were two chairs and a table available for seating, a small wardrobe for clothes and separate space for stowing luggage. The bathroom was neat and tidy and had clean towels. The fare included breakfast, free wifi, TV with cable and the added bonus was the room heater in the cold period which we visited. Room service was really great and housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and clean bed sheets and towels were provided daily with two small soaps.
Breakfast was included and had to be taken at the rooftop restaurant between 7-10 am and was just about ok. There would be a choice of 2 different items, plus toast and boiled eggs, cornflakes and tea/coffee. On weekdays, since my children got up late, I requested at the front desk to send the breakfast to the room instead to which they agreed after a bit of cajoling.
The location was excellent as it is very centrally located for sightseeing and for shopping and there is a McDonalds and Dominos close by. There were two other restaurants, Darbar and Delhi Sweet Shop, both veg, which we frequented. Only grouse was that hot water was not available 24x7 and had to call front desk whenever we needed it. On 4 out of the 16 days we stayed here, I had to leave for office without a bath as they used to start the hot water after 6 and I had to reach my office by then.
All in all, it was a great stay here. Would definitely recommend and stay here on my next visit.
