Thikana, which in Hindi means the place to which you belong, is your destination for comfort and simple luxuries in the heart of the city.We are looking forward to hosting our guests and providing them with inputs about the latest happenings and activities in New Delhi during their stay at our Boutique B&B.

This was our second stay at Thikana and the reason we came back is because the hosts made us feel so much at home, that this 2nd stay felt like we were returning home. This time too, Thikana exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The entire B&B is so gorgeous, beautifully done up, extremely clean (bathroom, bedroom, common area, fresh bed linen and towels), it even smells good, and just very warm and welcoming. We could invite a friend over for a meal (food by the way is amazing, as my 11-year old kiddo will vouch, so you must must must eat at least one meal beyond the exquisite breakfast). You can make special dietary requests and the staff will honor them. The food is so good that you’ll want recipes when you leave. We have travelled to many countries and stayed at many hotels and Thikana has been the best experience for us. The entire staff is very sweet, considerate, and thoughtful. They’ll ask if you’d like something to drink or eat when you come in, and they are so respectful of your privacy. They don’t disturb you. Overall our experience was nothing short of THE BEST!! It is the only place in Delhi we shall be staying in. As a woman, I feel very safe staying by myself at Thikana. They’ve definitely won our hearts and we consider ourselves “forever guests”. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

Before I book my travel to Delhi, I always make sure Thikana has availability. It's an absolutely wonderful hotel that makes my trip to India seamless. The hotel is elegant and charming, and the candles, artwork and textiles give it a special feel. The rooms are spotless with modern bathrooms and fast internet. The staff are attentive and helpful, and are always happy to make you a chai or get you a cold beer. The owners are very welcoming and can direct you to their favorite spa, shop or restaurant. And if you want to dine in, you can order a home cooked meal! This is much appreciated on a long trip. In sum, I really feel like I'm at home when I'm there - nobody is pressuring you to "buy" or "do" anything, but everything you need is available in a flash.
Additionally, the neighborhood is peaceful and you can use the walking/running track down the street (if pollution permits). Ubers have an easy time finding the hotel which is an added bonus. Thank you Atul and Sheetal as always. I'll be back!

I stayed here for 40 nights and I cannot speak more highly of this amazing B&B. The place is absolutely incredible. It is impeccably clean, the staff is warm and friendly, and the food is better than anywhere else I've eaten in Delhi. I realized that there are regulars who come and stay here year after year, for months at a time. If you're looking for a place to stay in Delhi, look no further. I guarantee that you can't go wrong with Thikana. We had the BEST time ever and can't wait to go back. From the time we walked in till the time we left, the staff was extremely helpful, whether it meant bringing our luggage to our room in the middle of the night, or making sure we had the fastest wifi speed, hot cups of tea and coffee, home-cooked mouth-watering meals, laundry service, taxis on call, you name it and they have it! Thikana is located in a wonderful area of Delhi that has lots of parks and greenery. It's located in a safe, quiet, well-lit, gated community, that has security guards 24x7. It's easy to go anywhere you want from Thikana. It is tastefully done up with beautiful original art work in every room. It is truly a boutique Bed & Breakfast: personable, warm, friendly and they will cater to your dietary requests if you let them know in advance. Extremely comfortable beds with clean linen and towels. Last but not least, this B&B is LGBTQ friendly. We will be back here for sure. There is no doubt about it.

Thikana is a very warm ‘home away from home’. Our main concern is always our dog and being pet friendly she was also given a warm welcome by our host and his friendly team. The rooms and common areas are really comfortable and the style throughout the property is uncluttered and very pleasing with some really interesting vintage furniture pieces and art. During our stay we were encouraged to feel at home and after our second stay we can definitely say that we feel at home. Thikana’s location is superb and close to cafes, parks and an absolute pleasure to stroll around. I look forward to visiting very soon.

We love Thikana. Really relaxing place in fine ambiance and more akin to a haveli as the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms on all the floors are all off lounge areas so guests should expect a little noise. In the evening you can choose to eat some lovely home-cooked food or get a takeaway. There are also local restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Green Park metro station is easy walking distance.

Located in a secure compound of modern apartments this is perfect accommodation on first arrival in Delhi .only 30minutes from the airport. The hosts were delightful,engaging in conversation and very informative. We enjoyed both breakfast and evening meal eating around a communal table,so able to chat to other travellers.. A drink on the spaceous roof terrace introduced us to the hubub of Delhi from the street below. Our bedroom was spaceous and quiet,with shared use of a separate lounge area

Stayed two nights here during our month trip of India. Great homely feeling, home cooked curry was delicious, lovely breakfast, comfortable room, hosts were fabulous making us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this ideal place to stay to explore Delhi.

Hotel owners and staff are the best I’ve come across. It feels like a home from home experience. The food breakfast and snack menu is amazing. The staff have been very helpful and you can go down to the local curry house and it’s really cheap and clean.

We were small group of friends staying at Thikana for two nights. This place was perfect for our group because we had rooms on the same floor and a shared living room which allowed us a lot of chill time together. The host family is super helpful and sweet. We were tired moms spending a much needed weekend with girlfriends and away from kids - they allowed us to book Foot Massages from Urban Company and we had our own mini spa day at Thikana. The place is clean and well maintained and the service staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay in South Delhi

The beds are firm without being hard. They are not super soft or squishy. I have back problems and I'm very particular about bed quality but the pine we had at Thikana was good

We stayed at Thikana and also at nearby Eros Hotel, enjoyed both. Thikana much better value for money.
Owner of Thikana arranged for as to be picked up at IG, car and driver waiting for some time as getting thru Immigration can be a long process. Owner also arranged a modern cab for us to visit ND sites, including Red Fort. At Red Fort there are plenty of guides who will offer to take you on a tour or you can hire an audio tour we took this option and enjoyed the tour using the audio. Allow about 1 - 2 hours for your visit, your driver will wait in the car park which is about a fifteen minute walk. Car and driver prices are very cheap and can be hired in hourly blocks.
Would strongly suggest you include a walking food tour of Old Deli. Check out Trip Advisor Food Tours of Old Deli - the number 1 rated is a superb experience, which will have you climbing buildings, visiting temples and markets, tasting food, riding in rickshaws, cooking your own breakfast and later enjoying lunch in an Old Deli House.
