I had recently stayed with Connaught Royale, Its a small boutique Hotel at a Prime Location, all the offices are at walkable distance. Hotel provide free wifi and offers variety of food in breakfast, hotel staff is very friendly and always wear smile at face.
I am regularly visit Delhi and I found this hotel suitable for business travelers.

This is perfect hotel if you are on a business trip to National Capital, They provide free wifi and upgraded my room to the next category. I regularly visit Delhi for official work and will love to stay again.

The hotel charged us double. Initially, on-call, they told us the charge would be 4500 for a 2-night stay including breakfast, but during our check out time, they told asked for another 4500. (We paid in advance at the time of check-in as they ask us by saying that 'the payment will in advance')
Moreover, neither the services nor the amenities were worth our money. The Air conditioning occasionally was turn off during the night, resulting in improper sleep. There were noises from the upstairs, 4th floor, at 4;30 in the morning.
The breakfast tea was served cold and on asking for water for drinking the staff paid no attention to our request only after an hour later when two calls were made.
Moreover, neither the services nor the amenities were worth our money. The Air conditioning occasionally was turn off during the night, resulting in improper sleep. There were noises from the upstairs, 4th floor, at 4;30 in the morning.

Booked a room for 3 nights from 16th October to 18th October, 2022.The hotel is located in a prime location in Connaught Place. The room allotted was small however was okay for a single person. The room key given to me was not working, and every time I go out they gave me the same key and repeatedly I had to go to the reception to tell them its not working. And every time they send some boy to open my room with a different key and the same thing was repeated till I checked out. Room service is very poor. Inspite of repeated request they didn't provide me extra water on the first day, also there were no towels in the room however was provided on requesting 3-4 times. When I checked in, I was asked to pay advance, so I payed an amount of Rs 15000/-. During checking out when I asked for my bill, my advance was not excluded from the bill. When I asked the reason, the receptionist told me that I haven't paid any advance as per their record. Luckily I had the screenshot of the payment which I showed to him. Infact they also forgot to call the taxi to drop me at the airport, though payment was done for the same. So I was late by half an hour when I reached the airport.

I stayed with my family which included kids as well as senior citizens too. We stayed there for couple nights and I must tell that the hotel is really good (neat, clean and lovely) but the staff at the hotel is even better.
Location:
Firstly, the hotel is placed off the Connaught Place which makes your stay quiet and peaceful, at the same time its just 200 m away from eateries and the shopping areas (connaught place, palika bazar, shakar market, bengali market). Metro station is just 100m away.
Hotel:
Very neat, clean and a well maintained property. There is a restaurant on the ground floor where you get really good food. He had our dinner on both days. Breakfast spread was also pretty decent.
Staff:
This is what makes your stay better than star hotels. Found each and every staff to be really helpful and caring. Yes, I mean it.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location and rooms. The manager guided over phone till I reached the hotel and was very helpful. So were the other staff.
It's a good choice for a night or two.
Will choose this place for future Delhi visits.
Given the tariff, there could be a complimentary breakfast.
The floor under the bed needs to be cleaned periodically to ensure a dust free room.

I came to Conaught Royale with my family in the evening for 3 nights. There were some bumps here and there, but overall the experience was very good. We had breakfast here each day as the food was really good. They have a good set of options that changed each day. The dine-in menu for lunch and dinner was also pretty good ( I liked the egg curry, chocolate walnut ice cream brownie, naan, and chili paneer).
As for hotel experience, the beds were comfy, ample storage space (we brought 7 large suitcases and 4 small cases) . The bathroom was clean and the shower was really good!
I would recommend this place as the room, food, and food service was great.

An excellent hotel for those who love waterfall near their bed and tip tip barsa pani music all the night. Yeah you read right. I had the privilege to stay for a night enjoying the same. The water was distilled to utmost purity as it was coming from the rooftop AC unit. Believe me the staff did not disturbed me at all. Nor did they tried to shift me to a dry room. Infact they provided me a bucket to place under the waterfall to facilitate better amplification of the tip top music. I am really greatful to them. These are their standard norms. Keep it up guys.

I booked my stay at Hotel Connaught Royale as I had some personal and professional work commitments in Delhi. I had booked a Studio Apartment. The room was big enough and spacious for two/ three people and had all amenities. It also had an equipped kitchenette. One area of improvement would be to have a set of cutlery and crockery in the cabinet. Then the whole concept of a studio apartment can be offered to the guest!
Other than that my stay at the hotel was perfect. All the staff were very courteous and professional. The front desk staff during check in and check out helped us with our questions. The F&B staff were very kind and warm. Special thanks to Mr. Virendar who is in charge of the breakfast/ restaurant area. He catered to all our requests and I also had a very pleasant chat with him.
I'd also like to offer my best wishes to the housekeeping attendant. He was attentive and very professional.
Another small area of improvement would be to have more varieties in the breakfast buffet. Adding a few international options like croissants, buns and sausages/ salami can take it way ahead. What I noticed is the options were very Indian and suited to Indian customers. Also the quality of tea was average. Serving a good brand of tea is very important for 3/4 star hotel.
Hotel Connaught Royale has every potential to become a 4* property. It has amazing staff, very good rooms and an overall awesome look and feel. The management just needs to work on a few tiny adjustments and modifications.
My best wishes to the entire team!
