Visited this hotel for 2 nights stay in March 2022 with Family. The rooms are good and nicely lighted. The room service is prompt and staff are co operative. This hotel is centrally located but there are barricades placed by police some metres away from this property from 10 pm to 6 am ... so if you travel at these times you need to walk for 300 to 400 metres to access the hotel from main road. There are limited options for Breakfast but manageable. Overall an pleasant stay.
Clean and reasonable hotel, bit of noise about, but in general, good cheap accommodation. This visit also included daily breakfast with was very nice. Location wise very easy walk to Red fort and the metro station to make the most of your time in the area. Staff also helped us with a tour of all the local attractions at a good price.
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel as part of a trip around the golden triangle organised by a local tour company which operated out of the hotel We arrived late at night and reception were very surly the room was clean but very basic and the soundproofing was terrible. We could hear everything all night and the air conditioning and tv were not working There was one thin towel for the 2 of us. A very basic breakfast was served on the roof in the Delhi smog and the surroundings were dismal All in all I would not return the only cheerful person was the security guard!
Generally speaking, the hotel was fine and value for money. The breakfast was Ok but no variety. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They were very helpful and welcoming. The room was ok but no view. The hotel was located in a small side alley which wasnt appealing for me. We stayed there for 1 night before heading to Agra.
Good standing hotel, very clean. The staff is nice and the location is great in that old delhi area. Ideal place to visit the Jama Masjid, the Chandni Chowk 'market', it's at a walking distance from the Red Fort as well (took me about 15 minutes by feet). I'd recommend to find a hotel (like this one) in the Old Delhi sector. Yet, it is easy to go further around like Connaught Place, Lotus Mahal... and visit other places of interest.
Worth a stay. Clean rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly staff. It was a little difficult to find late at night and there is another Hotel Tara only 1km away so we ended up at the wrong one. However, this was seemingly a nicer one and if I were to come back to Delhi, I would book here again.
Reasonably priced accommodation in the city of Delhi and close to the Red Fort. My sister and I stayed here at the onset of our trip. The staff were very nice and it was a well looked after facility. Our room was a little dark but it was fine. The only down side would be that there the hotel does not have an onsite restaurant. They will deliver food to your room. However, not having a restaurant there or one close by, can feel a little isolating. Therefore, I would not recommend this to any solo travellers as it can feel a lonely and it would be hard to connect with other travellers. . The street is not a great area for walking, especially at night. Easy to get a tuk tuk though.
Stayed here for 2 nights In Feb 2019. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, free WiFi , responsive staff. Shower pressure is good and the water is hot. Only downside is the access road that leads to the hotel is congested and often barricaded. Even so I do recommend staying here if you are look for a clean basic stay.
We were travelling as 3 couples and found this hotel tucked away in a quiet back street just off the main street of Daryaganj. It is easy found if you mention that it's opposite the well known Happy School. We had a very pleasant stay in a super delux room although not without a few issues that needed attention. For example one couple had a broken air con & the TV wasn't working. However, the staff went out of their way to help as much as possible and were very friendly. Breakfast is very basic but sufficient to get started for the day. The menu changes slightly every day & the local dishes are extremely tasty. The breakfast staff were also very nice & friendly too. The sheets were clean, the king sized bed was comfortable and the shower was a larger than normal size and very clean. All in all we were pleased with this accommodation for our budget. It seems popular for international travellors and is well situated to most highlights of Delhi.…
A moderately comfortable hotel situated near Red fort. Access roads to hotel are very crowded , however the road just outside the hotel gate gets v lonely at night and seems v unsafe. Hot water is not available all through the day, probably only for a few hours in the morning. Toiletries not the best quality. Friendly and helpful staff except one person in the travel desk. Pick up from airport is convenient but they will not arrange to drop you back.
