my wife and i brought our three young children (7,9,11). we usually do a florida trip for spring break and this was our first foray into "adventure" type vacations, huge success. as most who travel to small resorts know, it is all about the owners/mgrs. dave and suzanne own and operate casa cayuco and are skilled, attentive hosts while respecting...

We were two couples travelling together and stayed in Casa Cayuco for three nights. I wish we could have stayed longer! Casa Cayuco is absolutely beautiful, a paradise on earth. You can just relax and enjoy the surrounding nature or try different activities such as SUP boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and harpooning, all free of charge! Casa Cayuco also organizes trips....

Casa Cayuco is lovely and our family had a great time. The girls didn't want to leave and are asking when we can return. Dave and Suzanne are such welcoming hosts--our visit felt like friends introducing us to new experiences and other new friends. The food was prepared using local ingredients, including fish and lobster caught by Jose and Earnesto,...

Dave and Suzanne make it home for their guests - beautiful rooms, a dock that pokes into a beautiful bay, staff people who are warm and friendly and food that is really amazing. One of the best parts of staying here is that the existence of Casa Cayuco is helping the nearby Salt Creek Ngobe community. About a mile away,...

I spent five nights here in February 2015 and it was by far the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Suzanne, Dave, and their amazing team are perfect hosts and immediately make you feel right at home. It is hard to know where to begin with the praises. The location is fantastic: white sand beach with a sandbar for...

We stayed in Casa Cayuco with our friends for 3 nights during our 1,5 week stay in Bocas del Toro January 2015. Without doubt I can say this is the best place you'll find around Bocas! The location is remote, on a beautiful beach surrounded by the rainforest. Rooms are nicely decorated with beautiful outdoor showers, wooden furniture and soft...

We just spent three nights at Casa Cayuco and it was simply perfect. The Lodge is located on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach on Isla Bastimentos. It is a secluded, peaceful place where there is lots to do or...lots of nothing to do. There are excursions to snorkel amongst the mangroves (not to be missed), visit a chocolate...

Casa Cayuco is one of those rare vacations in life where every detail is accounted for, nothing feels rushed yet every day is filled with memories. Suzanne and Dave, with the aid of their dedicated staff, make you feel more like guests in their home than clients in a hotel. Casa Cayuco is situated on the far side of Isla...

What a special little get-a-way on a tiny island off of Bocas Del Toro. You'll feel like you are private guests staying at Suzanne and Dave's home (well you actually are!). Be as active or laid back as you want to be, join a tour, read a novel, hang out in a hammock all afternoon. The day is yours. I...
