We are already dreaming of our next trip to Casa Cayuco! The hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of swimmer friendly beach and is structured in a way that blends "nature adventure" and "creature comfort" perfectly. The food was superb, and we loved the communal style of meals. The snorkeling and dolphin bay excursion is not-to-be-missed! Dave and Suzanne's...

Casa Cayuco is a place where you can have life time experiences that you would have no where else. Casa Cayuco uses solar panels which are hidden so we the visitors of this fantastic hotel don't lose the experience of being in nature. The hotel has a rain water system that collects water and purifies it. This and the solar...

Yep, Casa Cayuco deserves its rating here on Trip Advisor. Unbelievable location, "at the edge of the world." Feels like you're isolated, yet fab eco lodge water and power systems. High speed internet by radio (may or may not be a good thing, depending on your goals...). Kayak, snorkel, SUP, run on the beach, walk the jungle to see monkeys...

I hesitate in writing this review because it's such a gem, that my selfish side doesn't want to share it. The owners and staff are so great however, that I want to see them succeed. We loved Casa Cayuco! From the personalized tours, the superb food, the comfortable cabins and incredible location - our entire family voted that this was...

I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since I was sitting on the dock, overlooking the clearest, most tranquil blue water at this lovely Eco-lodge. This was the ultimate location for a yoga retreat. The group had the entire resort to ourselves which really helped us bond. Dave and Suzanne went out of their way to make us all...

I don't know how to add to the review posted by one of the people in my group (see the review by sudipn) so I won't duplicate what she has said. But, I couldn't agree more with her glowing review. It was excellent to have the place to ourselves, and it made the group setting all the better. The meals...

I just returned from a weeklong group yoga retreat at Casa Cayuco. My problem is deciding where to begin this review…. I’ll start with our arrival….After a few days of major travel disruptions in Panama City that included lost luggage, flight cancellations, delays and rerouting…I was in need of some serious bliss. Dave Smith, the owner of Casa Cayuco, and...

Our family enjoyed winter break and ringing in the new year at Casa Cayuco in Isla Bastimentos, Panama. The owners of the eco-lodge, Dave and Suzanne, were wonderful hosts who were attentive to each guest's interest and were incredibly personable and service oriented. We loved all of the day-trips and excursions, Suzanne's excellent cuisine, and the friendly guides.

I went with friends for a birthday celebration week. We had a blast! The location was phenomenal and beautiful to say the least. The hosts Dave and Suzanne were friendly, knowledgeable, and a great resource for local information. The staff of indigenous islanders was great and made us feel very comfortable. The food was outstanding and plentiful as were the...

This is a LONG overdue review, and, quite frankly, it's because I racked my brain for weeks about how I could write a review to give Casa Cayuco, owners Dave and Suzanne, fishing extraordinaire Jose and all the staff the true credit they deserve. Simply put, I could go on and on about the first class meals, gorgeous views, prime...
