This is my second time at Punta Rica, Colette and Richard made me feel like a sister when I came back and I did miss them and their beautiful resort. The beds are beyond comfortable in a 2 story spacious and clean room. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The location is on top of a hill overlooking the... More

My husband and I stayed at Punta Rica for a few days in February. We chose it because of the other fabulous reviews we read on Trip Advisor. They were not wrong! This place lived up and exceeded all of our expectations. Colette and Richard are wonderful hosts. They both made us all feel right at home. We happened to... More

First off, Trip Advisor needs to add a 6th star and call it Superior...because that is the experience I had while staying at Punta Rica. I recently traveled to Bocas del Toro with my boyfriend and stayed for 6 days and 6 nights. What a beyond amazing experience. When Colette met us at the airport and I saw how big... More

My fiance and I came to Panama for my birthday. We arrived at Punta Rica on the actual birthday and found warmth and hospitality beyond compare. After dinner, Nathalie, the French cook, surprised me with a spectacular angel food cake with a passion fruit sauce. Her meals were indulgent, creative, and delicious. She was able to accommodate my vegetarian diet... More

Spent the 2012 New Yer there with a group of friends. Enjoy every minute of it! The location: a small boat trip away from the crowds of Bocas, but close enough to go there ; the surroundings: jungles, flowers; the concept: self-sufficient with solar panels, rainwater, etc..; the comfort and hospitality; and last but not least the incredible food!! Bravo... More

The house is just gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, they are duplex with a nice living room downstairs and a spacious bedroom ensuite upstairs. We stayed at Punta Rica for two weeks after Aydika spent a week on Careneros Island looking for the best place to stay. Two weeks at Punta Rica with amazing food and the feeling of being family- we have to say it is the best place we found in Bocas. This isn't to say there aren't other "good" places, but... More

Punta Rica is much more than a hotel, it is a home away from home. Richard and Collette’s hospitality will make you feel like family- from the welcome drink at your arrival, to the engaging conversation over a glass of wine. With four spacious bi-level guest rooms, you will relax in a private and comfortable lodging, while a beautifully decorated... More

“All the rooms are essentially the same, you can't go wrong. Just a heads up, you can't flush toilet paper (Which is true for most every place in Bocas Del Toro). This can make things a little less romantic but we managed to get over it pretty quickly.”
