We enjoyed a week of relaxing with family and left feeling restored. We stayed in a two story villa with 2.5 bath, 3 nice sized bedrooms and 1 room with a twin bed. Large open common area for cooking, eating, TV and games. We also enjoyed our lap sized pool multiple times a day and of course ocean views through...

We stayed in a slip at Red Frog Marina from October – November of 2016, and had a fantastic experience. During our initial internet communication, the response was quick, and emails were informative. They remembered us, and kept in contact as we waited for weather to travel to the Bocas del Toro area. Upon arrival, dockmaster DeCi, and at least...

Overall this was an amazing stay. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The villa was very clean and well kept. It was great to have my own pool and to be able to see the beach and rainforest from my villa. The critique I have is that the hotel does not seem to be overly environmentally sustainable. Also their...

Charlotte: Thank you for the review and glad you had a wonderful time! Environmentally the resort has restored hundreds of acres of rainforest that were once barren due to cattle grazing before the resort began. We are very proud of this accomplishment as very few resort developments in the world that can claim there are more trees here than before...

It was very evident to us that there is no manager on site, or with any presence. Our requests from the staff were not fulfilled time after time and that was disappointing, in a place that calls itself a resort. Most of the staff are not smiling and they don't go out of their way to assist. There is a...

Me and my staff appreciate that you think the property is beautiful and hope you will try us again. Most of our employees are from the local community that was mainly formed when the fruit companies brought in slaves from other islands throughout the Caribbean many years ago. Our culture is friendly and we try to please each guest who...

We went to Red Frog for Spring break 2016. The resort is beautiful. Villas are very clean and the grounds are well cared for. The staff was attentive and polite. There are two reasons that I would not go back at this point. The dining is very very limited, and the quality of the dining available is average at best....

Hello Elina: Thank you for your visit. Keep in mind we have a NEW grocery store here now that makes it convenient for our guests. We also have two new nearby restaurants so you have 3 to choose from at the resort plus chef services. We also have a new boat so getting to town is easier. Please think about...

As so many have shared, this is a very remote and beautiful location still under development. This is exactly what my husband and I were seeking for this holiday. We had a beautiful house (villa) on the beach. Our pool was wonderful, just steps to a private beach. I booked a 2-bedroom villa but we ended up with a 4-bedroom...

Thank you for coming! And thank you for sharing your experience with the sloths and wildlife on the island. We wish ALL of our guests would try our chef services (everyone really likes it!). Red Frog Beach Resort is NOT a resort. I read many reviews saying it is a collection of villas very spread out, but it is not quite what I expected, so I wanted to provide others details so you know what you are getting. I live in the U.S., but have traveled extensively, I love the beach, and I am...

Hi Steve: Thanks for your review. Most of our guests love Red Frog Beach for the reason that it feels authentic and unique and non-commercialized. Bumpy roads is part of the experience for now and the resort has the feeling of being surrounded by nature (plus some incredible Caribbean Beaches). More amenities are coming but many of our guests like...

You can enjoy a lush manicured rain forest in amazing privacy while cruising silently among the chirping red frogs in your golf cart. You can take an afternoon dip and enjoy the sunset and amazing...

Hi Joe - Bocas is a place that attracts travelers looking for something different and you make some excellent points that will be helpful to future travelers. Glad you enjoyed the zipline, diving and our chef worked with you on your food needs. Off the beaten path and we planned it to stay this way:-)

Luxury accommodations in a very laid back relaxing place. Truly close to heaven on earth. Night life in Bocas Town of you want it. If you want Cancun fast pace...don't come here. If you want beauty and relaxation...this is it.

We stayed 5 nights at Red Frog and the Resort and Island were amazing. We went in Aug during their off season and it felt like a private island getaway until the weekend.
