I stayed here with a group of eight people and it was literally one of the best hostels I have stayed at! The family who own it are so funny and helpful they made sure we had the best time we could and are just great people. It's out of town a bit but they have there own taxi drivers...

Pukalani is the perfect home away from home hostel! Perfect location if you want to surf, and short cab ride to and from town! Mama and Papa Carabello have a well run hostel with beautiful staff that accommodates any level of travel. The boys Juan, Juampi and Joshy have extensive surf knowledge of the local area, and and an epic...

I would not recommend to stay at this place to anyone. It is close to paunch, which is nice, but the owners created the worst vibe of any place I have stayed in Central America. Very unfriendly and very rude at times. Do yourself a favor and give this place a miss. We moved on after several days of feeling...

These people and their hostel are just amazing. I think this was one of the most welcoming places I have stayed at. The rooms and setting in the hostel are just amazing for their price. The sea starts right in front of the hostel and there is no need to walk at all to get to the beach.

My friend and I got a private room for 2 nights. I was surprised how clean it was. Probably the cleanest hostel I've seen. The pool area and view are pretty awesome! Close to both Playa Bluff and the main streets of Bocas Town. Breakfast was good! I would definitely stay again! I can't understand the bad reviews... Don't expect...

The rooms are mostly clean, and cleaned daily. The staff is often lost somewhere in the hostel so don't count on them for information. There is a a place to eat there but I would either go to town or use the kitchen. There is a free breakfast if you stay in a private room. Wifi is slow and not...

I stayed with my family in Pukalani Hostal at Bocas del Toro, Isla Colon Panama and was a great experience. The place have all that you need, confortable rooms just in front of the beach, big swimming pool, bar with cold beers and drinks, and if you are surfer: you have the best waves just 5 minutes walk! Optional Pukalani...

I'll start saying that you must know that Pukalani is not for partying! That said, this is a great hostal if you are looking to relax and you can always take a taxi to town for $2 and look for some more stuff to do. The pool is a great plus to take a break after a long day of...

When I first checked out this hostel online, I was so excited. They advertise many fun (and sometimes free) amenities and activities. I thought for sure I had a great weekend in store. However, when we arrived we quickly knew it wasn't like that. Everything pretty much closed at 9 or 10: the pool, the bar, various things you can...
