This hostel is great. It has a sweet location, good air con, nice rooms, clean bathrooms and a cool, social but chilled vibe. The owner Alex is a great guy. It also seemed to be the best value for money in Bocas. The only thing stopping it getting 5 stars are the 2 younger girls who work there - they...

As a traveler, the 3 things most important to me are the hostel, the people, and the price, hosteluego covers all three. The hostel has quality shared facilities (kitchen and multiple lounge areas), low number of beds in a dorm (I stayed in a dorm with 4 beds), and clean and separate bathroom and shower (with hot water). Everyone that...

We moved into this hostel after walking past the day before. We loved the design, great kitchen and beautiful view from the roofdeck. The owner lives on site and is available when needed. The whole place is renovated and absolutely clean. we stayed in a double room which was very basic and kind of small but had AC and was...

This place would actually be very nice and is located in a quiet area of Bocas. The staff, however, are not competent at all and there were many bed bugs in my bed. I would NOT recommend staying here!!!

I stayed here in August in a private room and the hostel was amazing. Super clean and very relaxing. We never had any trouble sleeping and Alex was a great host, super accommodating! Would definitely recommend it

Cool hostel with a good atmosphere and air conditioning, which seems to be rare in Central America. Hot water comes and goes but it's not so bad. Worlds better than Mondo Taitu Up the road. Friendly manager too. I'd stay here again if I'm ever back in Bocas.

Hosteluego was a great spot to stay. On a quite road but still only minutes from the bars. I stayed in a nice 6 person dorm for 4 nights. The owner Alex was great, the rooms cozy, the showers hot, and the kitchen is one of the best ive saw in the past 5 months of backpacking through central america....

Stayed three nights in this lovely cosy hostel. Has a very nice kitchen to use with great appliances and cookware. Cleanest hostel we've seen on our Central America trip thus far! Plenty of comfortable social areas to hangout in, but also many cool bars are only steps away. Alex was very helpful :)

Stayed here three nights, and the woman I traveled with and I agreed that although it was fine, we wouldn't recommend it to other travelers we met. It was often hard to find someone when we had a question (maybe due to it being the low season?). Our room was plenty big for two people, was on the first floor...

Only stayed for one night. Very small private rooms, shared bathroom/shower with no toliet paper, not very clean. Cheap though, and good working A.C. But I was eager to get up and leave in the morning, I wouldn't stay there again.

“dorm next to kitchen does carry some noise, no big deal though.”

“Rooms upstairs will most likely be more quiet”

“: Try not to get the dorm rooms near the bottom front because of the road noise and sounds of the door and drunken surfers coming in at 2a.m. or going out to catch some waves at 5a.m…. Also, the best breakfast on the island and pretty good pizza can be found just within a 5-minute walk, just up the street (you can’t miss the light-brown lacquered/stained wooden building on your right, just before you get to the main street).”

“The back rooms are quieter. I was across from the kitchen, but the noise level was all right. The front room on the left was noisy because of the lounge, and it was a gloomy, crowded six bunk room. The others I can't speak to.”
