We stayed here one night, room is ok, but a bit outdated. We enjoyed the free hot spring on their ground level very much, that is a big bonus. Breakfast is ok. We ate diner in their restaurant becuse there is a very limited choice in restaurants in that area, and that was tasteful, but it only came as a... More

A friend had booked this for us so we did not know what to expect before we arrived. I have read some of the earlier reviews and I agree with some of the comments about the limited English skills of the staff. There is little else to do once you have been in the spa so we ended up at... More

This hot spring hotel has own hot spring bath tub in each room. The water is supposedly true spring water. Tub condition so so, cleanliness so so. Another option is you wear swim wear and go to the common hot spring pool which is often over crowded. Also if you did not bring a swim cap they will insist you... More

The main attraction is the hot spring. They have a public pool which is nice in the basement, with staff on hand to help if needed. The steam bath and sauna is located there as well. The rooms where nice and big. Each room have their own bath with water piped from the spring. I didn't like the smell of... More

The village of Wenchung is dominated by many large hotels that cater for coaches of tour groups coming for overnight stays and to enjoy the hot springs. Firstly a word of warning - there is more than one Hoya resort. I was already aware of this from a previous reviewer and at the start of the day we had set... More

The folks at the Hoya Hot Springs Resort saved this weary traveler and her friends, whose command of the Chinese language took them to the wrong Hoya Resort (who knew one small city had multiple hotels with the same name?) and made their unexpected stay extra special! When we realized that we had taken a 40-minute, $25 taxi ride from... More

Was so surprised to see how good Hoya was. The rooms were spacious, clean and most of all, the beds and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. There is also hotspring water boiling hot delivered straight to your room! Sat in the tub for a looong time. The public pool there was nice and hot and included a variety of massage pools... More

We were here for 1 night with a tour group. Arriving late in the evening, was determined to check out the hot spring pool. It is in the basement and only open till 11pm. Went around 9pm and it was not crowded. A cap must be worn by all but the service desk has them at NT$ 50.The hotel also... More
