Very nice fresh air. We were lucky enough to catch the cherry blossom flowers starting to appear. Should spend at least 2 nights here since already made the travel all the way up the mountain. (we only stayed one night though as we had no idea the home-stay was located high up in the mountain). Elderly people are advised not...

The area called "Qing Jing" (in putonghua phonetics or "Cing Jing" in Taiwanese phonetics) is an isolated area high up in the mountains near Hehuan mountain, and Taroko national park. So expect accommodation is going to be pushed up due to limited supply and the popularity of Qingjing as a base for tourists to visit the area. This place is...

Stayed in this minsu as part of a group tour. Basic accommodation, near to main road and have to walk up a steep slope for about 100 metres. Our tour bus got problem going up there, so we had to walk up the slope. Room appears very old, with no aircon or heater. Stayed on the upper floor. Tables and...

I got the minsu of 2 beds a night at NT$2300 with a special channel in Taichung. Price wise, I cannot comment. For a NT$2300, it is worth to stay I can say but if more than NT$3000, I would not stay. There are >150 minsu (b&b) in Cing Jing area. No sound proof? I agree. But maybe I stay...

For NT$ 4630 a night for two beds. This was the worst hotel I'd experienced in the past thirty years. In any city. Hotel is right next to a busy gas station. And my room had zero sound proof. So it'd stayed noisy till mid night. There's no valley view at all. Don't trust the photos on website. Restaurant charged...
