I stayed here many years ago before the troubles in Syria and had forgotten about it until recently asked. As massive hotel with perhaps 50 staying when I was there (two tour groups). Basic but good sized rooms. I was in a twin with my sister and we couldn't get the heating to work (very cold in December) so we...

Stayed here 6 weeks and plan on visiting again the end of this year sometime. Great views, service and staff. Great location and a very beautiful area of Syria where the locals are so friendly and helpful. Probably the best place to stay in that region of syria if you don't want to be amongst crowds or if you want...

I'm from Safita and i visit every summer, I go to the hotel to swim and they make great parties during summer time but the only small problem is that there food can be a little off sometime. Other than that its an amazing place and it is close to a road full of restaurants which is very popular for...

his is basically the only choice in Safita or decently close to the "Crack des Chevaliers", and this is probably the only reason to visit this hotel. Cham Safita was obviously built with good ideas but that probably was a long time ago.. when we visited the hotel was more or less empty, as was the restaurant, the business...

First let me start by saying that I'm from Safita, and due to tight quarters at relatives' houses and the relatively cheap cost of staying at the hotel, we jumped at the chance to have a place of our own to stay while we were there for two weeks in April, 2012. We baptised our son there and spent a...

We stayed there for one night. We had a room with sea viewing. The view is great; you are on top of Safita. The hotel is large but...we were the only two guests there! Nevertheless the kitchen cooked for us dinner and breakfast in a very good quality. A great effort for just 2 people. I don't now the reason...

The room was large, comfortable, and even featured a patio to look out over the countryside. Don't know whether they advertise having hair dryers or not, but they are available only on a first come first serve basis at the front desk. (There may be only one.) There was a business center with at least one computer. The hotel is...

We arrived with a booking only to be told no rooms were available. The receptionist was totally dismissive. "The problem is at your end not ours" was the response. So we did not get to look at the rest of the hotel which didn't look too bad from the reception!!

“Tell them you'd like a family suite to get more space...although most rooms are a nice size. Be sure to have a marriage certificate handy, etc. As I think most hotels in Syria require proof of marriage for males and females staying in the room together unless they're related.”
