Me and my wife stayed in Camellia for 2 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner is average nothing special. Be prepared to pay for the water during dinner even if you booked a half board. The pool is clean but you have to be there very early because you will not find any space. Also...

We spent three days in Camellia and remember it as a good start for the country visit. The hotel is calm, quiet and relatively far from everything. The rooms and restaurant are perfect. Good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Staff is helpful. Big park and pool is cool 😎 The only one negative is despite their promise, extremely...

We stay here for one night and it was great. The room was large and spacious and the food both dinner and breakfast were delicious. While dinner is slotted to start at 7:30 they let us eat earlier because we were with our 2 year old son. The pool was really nice and refreshing. The only downside the ceilings were...

The hotel designed to handle large groups. Interestingly, located on a large area. Pros: good food, friendly staff. Cons: dirty linen (1 of 3), not working Wi-Fi, bathroom large. BI g houses, a lot of greenery:)

We stayed at Camellia Resort for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffet was decent, but could use some improvement. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent, this area of town has plenty of mosquitoes.

Seems to be a policy in Sri Lanka of keeping the new tourist hotel away from the locals, This was one case when off road must have travelled on a rough track for more than 400 m. Couple of other hotels down different tracks - isolated. Reception separate from rooms in the semi open. Friendly helpful reception staff. Hotel in...

The rooms were very clean and spacious though would be improved with more hanging space. Staff were very helpful and kind, especially Mitira who provided first aid to a grazed knee. Beautiful pool to relax in and lovely walks outside the hotel to learn more about rural life nearby,

This is a lovely hotel, in beautiful surroundings, really well located for the cultural triangle and very fairly priced. Our room was really nice and extremely clean. The buffet breakfast and dinner is good quality with both European and Sri Lankan choices, and is inexpensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in 9 hotels in Sri Lanka and...
