The pool is a welcome pleasure: watch flocks of birds fly overhead at night. Wonderful curry - so fresh and not over cooked and not too rich. Smooth operation. Meals are timed to the minute. Wonderful staff and owners.

We stayed one night in one of the new rooms by the pool. The room was very comfortable, the pool is perfect to relax.
The food was fine and the service good but we didn't stay long enough to get to know the people.

Hi, We booked a safari to see elephants through this hotel. We were also able to hire bikes and a moped from here so you can travel around the ruins. They would also be able to book a trip to Sigiriya for you from here.

The sights aren't really all walkable from each other (if you want to see everything) so you need to hire someone to drive you around anyway, the hotel can arrange one for you. Make sure you look around the museum where the ticket office first- it's pretty good and gives some great background to the area.
