Stayed here for one night to split the trip from Trinco to Beruwala, to be honest wasnt expecting much from the rooms just went for the view, but was totally surprised by the room it was immaculate and the bathroom was amazing. We had a room with a balcolny and it was wonderful watching the elephants from there. Nothing was...

Great view from the large balcony watching the elephants bathing in the river.it was worth paying double for the river room to see them. Room immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. Great hotel. Its such a shame that paying guests are not allowed into the rooms until 4 pm. They expect tourists to pay thousands of rupees to watch...

Stopped here for some lunch and drinks whilst visiting the elephant orphanage. Pasta was good and both food and drinks were fairly priced. Good views too overlooking the river with elephants bathing close by.

The room was nice and spacious and looked out onto the river where the elephants bathe. You could also see an amazing sunset from the balcony which is a plus since Sri Lanka has some of the prettiest and most dramatic sunsets we've ever seen! During breakfast, the elephants bathe in the river at 8:30h and there are no tourists...

We stayed at this hotel, just to see the elephants bathing and visit closely situated elephant orphanage. It served the purpose well. Hotel is located immediately next to "Ma oya" river, which is the place where elephants from orphanage take their daily bath. So, you can fully view elephant bathing from your hotel room. If the elephants move to the...

This is a review of the restaurant in Hotel Elephant Park. We arrived in Pinnawala to see the elephants on a hot day and were looking for shade and feeling hungry. My wife and daughter took shelter from the sun at the entrance of Hotel Elephant Park while I looked around to see what was going on. We found out...

This restaurant very busy, because it is closed to the river where the elephant take a bath. I got friendly waiter, he...

We were looking for a quick snack and came across the Hotel Elephant Park restaurant. We only had a bottle of water, french fries and fresh roasted cashew nuts. They were heavenly. The view from the restaurant looks over the elephant bathing area in the river and had superior views of the elephants.
