Beautiful hotel tucked away from the crazy bustle of Kandy town. The rooms are quaint and beautifully decorated. We didn't get to try the pool sadly as we arrived a bit too late and it was chilly! The food was amazing and the chef was more than willing to accommodate your requests. Staff are friendly and helpful and even helped...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Best hotel in Kandy as close enough to visit Temple of the tooth but far enough away to avoid noise of traffic. Staff are attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and a great place to relax. When here try the 8 course curry - it was superb.

Lovely stay, like a home from home, very relaxing. Not enough sun beds round pool. Do not stay in the tent unless they have introduced mosquito nets, you will regret it. Shame as such a great experience

I went with my friends to have 3 days break. We Had 3 exceptional experiences: An amazing and relaxing atmosphere, the cutest nicest and adorable personnel, only two waiters, one cleaner, one Gardner and the cook, I will never forget them especially the old waiter and believe me I Am not an emotional person. The third one is the food,...

We knew this hotel was going to be great from the moment they sent a bright yellow Mini Moke to pick us up after the short seaplane trip from Colombo. This is a really lovely small hotel with the most amazing team looking after you - you would have to travel a long way to find anyone more friendly and...

During our stay mid March, we experienced the same as the reveiwer of March 1. The lack of experienced staff was noticable during the introduction to our room, the lunch service and the dinner. All three did not meet the expectations as promised on the website. After having talked to the manager the next day, he apologized and made up...

We only stayed here for one night but it was very enjoyable. The hotel has great views over the city and is tucked away from the busy streets of Kandy. We stayed in the Vanilla Suite - a large room with a wonderful 4-poster bed and ensuite bathroom. We had dinner there too - opting for the non Sri Lankan...

We stayed two days at the tent. An unforgettable experience. We had breakfast and dinner, from the exquisite cuisine, on our small private porch. The staff was extremely friendly, a special thanks to Nihal, who took so well care of us.

Amazing views and hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the food was a bit of a disappointment. We just went for dinner and it was a let down. Extremely pricey and high end. Visit during sunset or sunrise for spectacular views of the hills surrounding you.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Sir David Lean Bungalow, with our 2 kids aged 3 and 1. Overall this was a good stay and we were very well looked after by the excellent staff. The main reason why this doesn't get 5 stars is I don't think the website gives the clearest indication of what to expect....
