This is the place you want to be after that hot, noisey, chaotic day of Kandy. St Bridgets is up the hills and is reachable by tuktuk for 200 Roepies. It's also a nice strawl to the city centre, via a Boddhi tree and a very good bakery (try the hoppers). We were welcomed with a cool wet towl to...

St Bridget's is a delightful, quiet and calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. The rooms we found clean and well maintained, set in gorgeous gardens. They also represent really good value. Breakfast and dinner are available and are delicious. The owners are extremely helpful and able to furnish you with any information you need to make your...

This was a real treat for all of us. Loved the food , Their travel advice. The place is not so big but we really enjoyed our stay in this guest house. A bit difficult to locate this place unless you use the Map.

Welcoming hosts, tasty home cooked meals, manicured gardens, clean rooms, great upstairs lounging area, keep an ear out for the early morning migration of monkeys making there way through the tree tops.. Good base to return to after a day of exploring and sight seeing. Short three wheeler ride to town, or walkable if keen.( it is a bit uphill), but...

Stayed 2 nights in a small room on first floor with one double bed and an extra bed (small army bed). We felt definitely cramped as a family with 2 kids and the bathroom was very small too (shower almost above the sink and only millimeters between the toilet bowl and the door). There is however a huge common area...

Someone in Ella told us about this hotel. It greatly surpassed our expectations! Our host was extremely kind and has gives great attention to details. She supplied information on where to go and what to do while in Kandy. And the guest house is absolutely lovely. The garden is fantastic and the personnel are smiling and helpful.

We stayed at St bridgets for two nights and everything was just perfect. We were welcomed with wonderful passionfruit ice and towels. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We also recommend having dinner there. The rice and Curry was great! The owners are very nice and helpful! The place is a little outside of the crowded city...

We had a lovely stay here. We were given a very welcome pot of tea when we arrived, and everything was very relaxed. Great breakfasts and dinners, and far more than we could ever eat. The hosts organised a driver for us for a day, so that we could go into the hills and see the tea plantations, and did...
