The hotel is located within walking distance to nearly everything. The rooms are clean and the staff are very professional and friendly. After reading reviews, I booked room 106 as it had it's own private garden terrace. The road in front is noisy so it might be advisable to take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The breakfast...

We stayed at Sevana Hotel for two nights and it was perfect. On our modest budget, this has been the best hotel we have stayed in Sri Lanka without spending more than planned (~$30USD). The hotel looks and operates like a proper hotel in the West; the room was clean and comfortable, there was really hot water, friendly staff, and...

Very professionally run by a friendly family and staff and a great central location, walkable to anywhere you might want to go in Kandy. The breakfast is amazing. Not often we recommend somewhere unreservedly, but you will be in good hands here.

Our stay at the Sevana City Hotel was flanked by stays at luxury resorts, and we were just planning on using Sevana as a crash pad en route between Sigiriaya and Galle. The stay pleasantly surprised us in a number of respects. Supantha (I'm sure I got her name a little wrong), the proprietress, and her husband are wonderfully genteel...

Stayed here for 2 nights. 5 minutes into meeting the owner, she had sold us tickets to the Kandyan dance show and arranged a driver to take us on a day trip to sigiriya/ dambulla the next day. Very efficient service! This is a family-run place with a nice homely feel. Rooms are basic but clean. Conveniently located, within walking...

Booked for 1 night’s stay; excellent budget hotel with small but adequately furnished rooms and bathrooms. The service was great, with helpful information given about the local area, excellent breakfast (the best during our 5 day stay in Sri Lanka!) I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good budget hotel in the centre of Kandy.

Great location, hotel is clean and rather modern. It is situated in the Kandy centre, but it is quiet inside. Breakfast was amazing, the best I had in Sri Lanka. Staff is nice and helpful. I recommend it!
