Within walking distance from both the bus and train stations, Sevana Guest House ( also known as Sevana City Hotel) is a good base from which to explore the city. Despite being on a busy road, the rooms are quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The family are very involved in making their guests stay as comfortable as possible and do...

Now known as the Sevana City Hotel, this family-run hotel is set back from the street for no noise and minutes from the Railway station. The room has been recently refurbished as all the rooms are in the process, but I was disappointed to find the double bed I requested not in the room. The bed was a little soft...

Stayed here for a night when we're in Kandy City. The location of the hotel is very good as you can walk around and find many foods and shops around. It is also very near to the train station and temple. So if you're a backpacker and love walking around to explore the city of Kandy, you can consider this...

Good location to explore Kandy by foot. Friendly staff and newly renovated room. It was a little more expensive than we hoped for, but I can recomment it, if you only need a place to rest, but spent the rest of your days in and around Kandy.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the location is perfect to explore the center of the city with the famous tooth temple. The owner of this hotel, Sakunthala, helped us with all our travel needs immediately in the most friendly manner, organized a sightseeing tour with the most professional, gentle...

We stayed in Sevana for two nights. We wanted to take a rest after a long journey and by the way be close to the city center. The place was just perfect! Comfortable clean room, good breakfast, the roof - from which you can see the city, and what was the most important - nice and helpful hosts. Our baggage...

We booked 2 nights, but stayed altogether 3 nights in the end. The host and her staff are very helpful and nice. Good location - walkable distance to major tourist attractions in downtown & train station. Our room is quiet and clean. The host helped us to plan our trip and organized very good drivers for us. We really enjoyed...

This property is not a hotel, its a home stay. The photos are of some other property, certainly not Sevana. Entry through a garage and to get to the rooms - no elevator - had to walk through the family's living area, very dark and smelly. The rooms were frightful. We did not even stay a night, found somewhere else....

We stayed 2 nights at Savana and enjoyed it a lot. As others pointed out, the location is close to perfect, just a few minutes walking from the railway station as well as the main attractions of the city. While the rooms may vary in quality depending on their orientation, ours came with a beautiful terrace and was very quiet....

We stayed for 3 nights begining of March. The staff and owner speaks very good English. Everybody is very friendly. They gave us really good reccomendations of the places to see in Kandy and the driver they booked for us for a day trip to Sigiriya and Dambula was great! Breakfast is very nice. Rooms are small but comfortable.
