We had a very nice stay in Amaya Lake Hotel. Especially the service, rooms, swimmingpool, big lake and Srilankan nature were very good. The people who work in the restaurant are always very nice and friendly to the guests, especially Mr Pradeep Marasinghe. The location is also very good to do trips in Dambulla and Sigiriya. from Vasanthi Boddou (Belgium)

Had an amazing experience at Amaya Lake Resort. Some of the key highlights: a. Property: Nice sprawling lawns with beautiful lake view, reasonable landscape. Must highlight that construction has been done in sync with nature e.g. guard rail by the stairs would have a gap where a young tree is growing. b. Experience: Very polite staff. Hemanth their F&B manager...

It has been a lovely experience. Other than some small issues like wifi reception which is not available at restourant where breakfast served and at rooms and lack of cheese and olives at breakfasts. Specially Juthi Max was one of the employees that took extra mile to make this stay one of the best for me and my family

This is an absolutely beautiful resort in a stunning garden setting overlooking a lake. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty with a welcome drink and buggy service( on demand) for getting to our villa. The buffet breakfast was varied and substantial. There are 2 swimming pools, both are superb. A special mention of thanks goes to...

The hotel is in a very remote location, within beautiful surroundings. There are several short walks around the area where you can view the local wildlife. The lake is a great place to sit and chill. As there is very little happening at the hotel I would only recommend a short stay here. The rooms are very nice small cabins....

Last week I patronized Amaya Lake with my family and stayed in the Signature wing. I would say it is well blended of luxury, eco-style, giving a unique flavor of pleasure, harmony and enjoyment by lodging in luxury at a comprehensive cost. It portrays a sense of uniqueness in terms of service, experience, level of intimacy and thematic ambience. In...

Fantastic hotel with huge grounds on the shores of Kandalama reservoir. Stayed in a room in a low block quite some distance from the main reception area, but transport in golf buggies is provided. There were a couple of good restaurants and many activities - all extras. In the evening a large grassy area leading down to the lake was...
