We used this hotel as our base for exploring Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park. Both required early starts and fairly late finishes so it was lovely to return to this haven to relax around the pool or sit in the lovely outdoor dining area for lovely meals. You can also walk down to the lake ( very short distance) and...

I wouldn't know where to start to mention what a wonderful holiday we spent at Amaya Lake (me & my family) for 4-nites.... As we approached the hotel and even before getting off the car, the drummers started beating the drum to welcome us. It is called the beraya (drum) with 3 local village female folk seated around & drumming....

The reception was warm however the staff are not very fluent in understanding English. The room is big and bathroom is more than adequate. There are only sheets and a blanket no duvet funny for...

When we first arrived at this hotel we were in awe! The views are spectacular and the room was spacious. A welcome sign on our hotel floor was made from leaves and flowers and the evening, when the staff turn down our bed, good night was written on the bed. These little touches excited us about our stay here. However,...

Very good greenery environment calm place ,staffs are very polite and helpful.Only issue is the food & water prices ,too expensive. If you want to isolate with your loved ones, good place to go. Always mind ,this is a eco hotel, so there may be some presence of insects ( Ants, snakes,Scorpio) ,which no body have control over it .

Very pretty location, right on the banks of the Dambulla tank. Beautiful lawns, trees & greenery all around. The breeze from the tank is very soothing. The accommodation is in jungle type bungalows which are good sized, well furnished, clean, spik & span & very comfortable. After sundown, the paths to the rooms gets dark as they are not very well...
