The location of the hotel is amazing against the lake. The extent of greenery and natural beauty is such a relaxing and peaceful environment. The chalets with their rustic look, really add to a greater sense of privacy. It is showing signs of required maintenance but this is negligible. The staff were most helpful and courteous. Although an open design,...

Whilst the setting near a large lake is pleasant, the hotel is showing its age. The hotel is a series of cabins and it can be a bit of a walk to the pool or restauarant. The rooms are large and OK, but they feel a bit old - our air conditioner was really noisy and there was a bit...

We spent 2 days in the city , the Amaya lake is a quite lake with few hotels around the lake . You can take the the duck boat to make a small Cruze , if you are in dambulla you have few options so the lake is a good place to visit

What a beautiful place in a beautiful country ! The surrounds are delightful and its an excellent place to recover after the many steps of Sigirya. A relaxing massage and cocktail at the pool bar also help :) . Two days was not long enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our tour. Lovely bungalows. Clean & tidy though in slight need of an update. The pool was very welcoming after our very long day visiting Sigiriya Rock.... Beautiful views from the lake early morning. Buffet food with plenty to chose from. Staff very friendly.
