We didn't stay at the inn thank goodness but did have a very un pleasant drink in the restaurant attached to the hotel. Our smoothies were 95% water. I think they must have dipped a piece of pineapple in to it. Then charged twice what we had paid for a lovely drink in kandy. Dirty looking place, no menu no...

This place is not beautiful. It is dark, dirty, old, used. But for the price is enough. And you go to Dambulla for travelling. So this room is good just to spend a night there. The problem was a shower. We did not have hot water which we should have. And the shower did not work very well. Afterwards we...

...if you want to visit the famous cave-temple. The hostel is just a 10 minutes walk away and a visit to the cave-temple really pays off. The staff of the hotel was really nice and very helpful. Our room came with a/c and was quite cheap. The whole building is a bit muddy and dark. But if you are just...

Dirty, uncomfortable beds and with a bar next door (which made two girls travelling alone sleep very light). We found out after paying for this one that just 100 meters up the road there is an absolutely lovely little family run guesthouse that charge exactly the same price. So can't even say it was value for money. Just don't stay...

I stayed in several guesthouse at my trip through sri lanka but this was the worst one. The room (No 4) was dark. The light produces a strange ambient....a bit industrial. Mosquito net was too small for the bed and had holes. Hot shower didn´t worked. The shower was a really strange construction in the bathroom. Room was dusty. Seemed...

Smile guys guests love it.Clean the muck off the bedroom walls and clean the filthy bathroom tiles. Find someone who can cook good food and you are going to see improved business. The hotel has potential being within walking distance of the temple and caves.

Well, we selected it because of its price, cheap and location. Thats exactly what you get. Nothing more nothing less. I agree with other reviewers and all what they have said its correct. If you have no other choice and if you are very budget conscious then Sun Ray may be your choice..

This place was abysmal! The absolute worst place we stayed in the whole of Sri Lanka. The rooms were filthy. There was black fingerprint smudges all over the walls (and the roof!) and the bathroom was really grimy. Our room had no hot water and no toilet paper provided although I believe other rooms did - not that we wanted...

Previous reviewers have complained of this place being dirty etc, however you must keep in mind how much money you are paying per night. For example, we paid 1500rs a night, hence we understood that the hotel was not going to be perfect, but for the price I was impressed and would recommend it. The room was clean enough, the...

We stayed on the 19th of Dec,2012. They have nice Pub and Restaurant but the rooms need to be cleaned vey badly. Wall-paint gone, not enough light bulbs, wet and bad smell, toilets are falling apart and so dirty, found the used soap in the shower. Price is not so bad, good for one night sleep only. We stayed in...
