We stayed here for a couple nights, good spacious room and comfortable bed. Mosquito net has no holes! So did the job very well, bathroom is basic but again clean and everything worked well with hot water. The room itself came with a safe, clothes rack, table and chairs, only 1 plug socket though so make sure to make use...

Warm and friendly host family. Wonderful traditional Sri Lankan breakfast served in the garden. Cleaning is good and the owner gives advice and helps arrange tours and transports. Location is near many tourist spots and just a few minutes walk från Dambulla centre. Good value for money! We loved our stay at Takeshi inn

The guesthouse is located 15 minutes by walk from the centre of Dambulla but you can easily catch a bus to Sigirya or Colombo in front of the guesthouse (no need to go to the bus station). The owner was helping us to do so. He also took us to the temple with his tuk-tuk free of charge which was...

A charming place to stay, definitely, if you're...

What can I say about this Takeshi Inn? The rooms are basic and the air con was nice. The internet is patchy if it's something that bothers you. The facilities aren't really what I want to write about though. It's the family that runs it. Nihal is someone who still pops into my thoughts because I miss him. He's a...
