The location of this hotel is in Dambulla closed to the famous golden cave temple. I have stayed here for 2 days and visited Sigiria, golden cave temple and elephant orphanage in this area. I would say this hotel is almost in the middle and it is convenient to go to these touristic spots. However, the hotel is quite old....

I loved everything about this hotel: the rooms were tidy and spacious, the mosquito nets were clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. We had everything we needed and we wished we were staying in this hotel for more than a night.

Was here as a part of an Intrepid tour group. Hotel is in the main city centre commercial district, with restaurants and cheap eats just a stroll away. I found the bar drinks really expensive compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka. 3000lkr for a bottle of Aussie wine. The breakfast was included with toast, fruit and Sri Lankan options....

The staff were extremely caring and friendly, however this was standard in Sri Lanka where everyone is very hospitable and thoughtful! The room was average, the bathroom was clean and bed was spacious and clean. However the room itself needed a facelift and upkeep.Corridors were dirty. The breakfast was not good either compared to other ones we had when paying...

I PREFER to get around on a push bike,...

Dear Mr. Salamone, Sorry for my late reply. It is regret to note that you have got wrong information through the booking engine. As soon as you have inquired from the reception about the push bikes, we had checked the system updates and re- updated. Sorry for the inconvenient cause that you had to face during your stay @ Gimanhala....

This hotel is located on a main street, close to many restaurants, shops, and the local weekly market. The rooms are quite spacious, provide mosquito nets (which we didn't feel a need for), had nice hot water, and staff that were eager to please. The breakfast buffet was extensive with both Sri Lankan and Western options. There is a lovely...

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the mosquito net was very clean and in perfect condition. The room/bathroom was dated but serviceable. The pool area was good with towel and bar service, if a little slow. They even bought me a mosquito coil to burn. Breakfast was good with a large selection and the lamprice dish they...
