We had an event in Braila and the hotel was nice and offered a good deal in renting ~30 rooms. The rooms are renovated and does not disappoint. The photos from tripadvisor are not up to date. The entrance is not yet renovated and might repel some tourists.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. The conference room is nice and the restaurant has good food. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are clean. Still, there are things that can be improved: the furniture is not modern, the restaurant is ordinary and boring....

This is a 2 stars hotel, for the comfort of a 3+ stars. We needed a centrally located accommodation. It is very easy to find, one could not miss it. Upper storeys of the hotel are now being renovated. The room looks very nice and comfy, it is very clean. Very quiet are, but also sound proof room.

I stayed 2 time at this hotel, it's easy to find. Rooms are clean, upper floors have good view and are renovated, services are good, staff is helpful. Location is great, near the town center and Danube river. Parking is free in front of the hotel.

We've stayed just one night at this hotel, and just needed a centrally located accomodation for resonable price. So, I should say that the hotel was much more better than we expected. At the entrance you can feel the winds of the past, and in the old elevator we still had some fears about what is awaiting us on the...

I sometimes wonder how they could still call it a 3 star hotel. From the outside it might look acceptable, tall building, not too old not too sparkling, appropriate to the 20th century. But once you enter the reception, there's a feeling of emptiness as there are no more than 2 tables and, say, 5 sofas, which is definitely not...

The stuff was reasonably agreable, although we didnt have the room at the flat we have previously reserved (in order to get a nice view of the Danube), but at a lower one. Devices in the room were functionable, although the quality of the furniture could be better. Overall the hotel is in need of restauration (I think they have...

I have stayed for 2 days at this hotel and it was (let's say) an experience. The first thing that strikes you is the design of the lobby and the reception. For those who have been in a hotel during the communist "era", this will be a shock and a guaranteed trip to those days. The rooms have the same...

Hotel Traian is located in the center on Braila Town next to the Danube River. It’s a place erected during the communist era and you can still find similarities with that time. It has 3 different types of rooms: basic (not recommended), basic plus (nothing fancy, just basic accommodation, good for last minute and for a night or two) and...

It was like leaping back to the days of the communist regime: the building itself from the outside is "trying" to demonstrate a-bit more tender look and inside tries to be more fancy - but nothing can really hide the stiffness of the communist style. You enter a wide hall with a small (tiny, actually) reception desk. Really strange experience....
