We spent two nights at Magus Hotel and it was wonderful.The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast had a big variety of choices, all of them tasty. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious too. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for transit, but also if you want to visit Maramures or go hiking as we did. I would definitely come again.

For me was perfect time in this confortable hotel! I loved that i can stay with my small dog, they love animals. Good service, beautiful and perfect clean rooms! Im happy to have this place in my city of my heart!

This hotel is easy to find, being located on the main road west of the city. There is ample parking, too, which is another bonus. We'd driven rather a long way, when we arrived, and it was nice to arrive in a clean, well organised hotel, with comfortable large rooms. It's a few miles outside Baia Mare, but there is a good restaurant on site, which I'd recommend, although service can be slow, the food is good, and breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Romania.

although located outside the city of Baia Mare, the admosfera, the reception, the cleanliness and the facilities of this hotel, make you rejoice with pleasure ... in the room you are welcomed with champagne and fruit, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming ... very friendly staff, rich breakfast, guarded parking

We got at this hotel after we reserved a deceptional hotel - the reality was totally different from the photos listed on the web site. So we decided to stay somewhere else: we found Magus hotel available and suitable to our needs and expectations. It’s well-furnished, classy, clean. The minibar include a free chocolate and the well-known coffee and tea bags. The staff was friendly and caring. The menu in the restaurant is on a table! And something more... they have their own club. We couldn’t party because we stayed over the Easter night and it was closed. Even if it’s located at the entrance in Baia Mare, the city center it’s only a 7 min drive away.

I have only spectacular impression with this hotel. Nevermind my early arrival (almost 1,5 hour) the lady at the reception was so kind and polite and she let me to get in the room much earlier than expected. Everything, which includes accomodation in room and hotel itself, is just immaculate. I'm very proud to be in the list of this hotel's guests.

Located outside the city, in a former orchard orchard overlooking the hills around the city. The hotel is new with modern rooms, very comfortable bed and clean and well-equipped bathrooms. Breakfast is tasty, maybe some more fruit would not hurt. Near the hotel is a nightclub that could cause some noise problems, in the summer when the tourists sleep with open windows.

Thank you for your review! In a couple of weeks we are preparing to add a vitamin bar to our breakfast where our guests can choose from fruits to vegetables to use in our juice press so they could enjoy freshly pressed natural juice. Our rooms are equipped with triple glass windows for comfort and noise isolation and also air conditioning, so open windows are not necessary. However,our club offers good entertainment with select people and good partys to enjoy also by our hotel guests, maybe next time you will visit us you will check this out too :)

We spent three nights at the beginning of September and are really enthusiasic about the quality of the accommodation. Rooms are spotless clean, very comfortable and tastefully furnished . Great sleep quality (quiet rooms and comfortable bed). Generous and diverse breakfast with quality products. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Large parking, easy to locate from the mainroad , despite being at the town outskirts. Definitely more than a three star hotel! We only went to the hotel restaurant one evening. A large restaurant , with a slight sensation of stale air, were we where the only clients. Being very hungry, we chose the simplest and quickest meal on the menu ( grilled chicken breast with french fries and pickled vegetables). It came very quick ( like 15-20 minutes) , it was hot and perfect. The waitress was very nice and eager to help. Most likely minor rearrangements could help this area level to the same excellency as the accomodation area. All in all, we definitely recommend this place and would return on the next occasion.…

An excelent experince overall. Check-in was quick and The room was clean, spacious and elegant. Breakfast is varied. Political, courteous and friendly staff. Large parking. Located at the exit of Baia Mare, it requires a personal car or a taxi. A bit noisy if there are events in the restaurant
