Aguas Calientes is a small little town at the base of Machu Picchu and the Inti Inn was surprisingly nice, considering the rest of the town. Inti Inn has a rustic style to it, all stucco and wood beams, but it is very clean and comfortable. My wife and I had a room with two twin beds, and considering how...

We stayed at Inti Inn earlier this month, somewhat apprehensive due to some of the negative reviews that we had read, but the hotel was just fine and comfortable for a one-night stay in Aguas Calientes. The rooms are fairly small and basic, but comfortable and quiet and have some character in that the floors are tile and the ceilings...

The Inti Inn was our most expensive night in Peru by far. Literally, 3-4 times the cost of similar accommodation in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. We were convinced we needed to book accommodation in advance, and every place we contacted (literally, everything cheaper in Lonely Planet Peru) was full. So, we ended up here. I wish we would have...

First of all, there is more than 1 Inti Inn. Not too sure if they are at all connected/related or not. Went to the 1st Inti Inn (the one on the map) and we were told that even though they had our luggage from the train station, we did not have a room. She directed us up some wooden stairs...

We stayed one night at the Inti Inn in A/C last week as part of our Machu Picchu trip. Very comfortable bed and a good shower. Included breakfast, however keep in mind that this is not a four star hotel. More than adequate for the money and adventure. I would recommend.

The hotel proved quite difficult to locate, something not helped by there being no name sign outside!!! The lobby is fairly nice and spacious with a TV and sofas. My room was fairly small with a window looking into an internal light well. The bathroom had a small high level window on to the corridor right where the internet station...

This inn is a nice place to stay in Aguas Calientes. As many locations there it is up hill and requires a little hoofing it through pedestrian streets. Our room was up several floors (no elevator) but bedding was adequate and warm water showers. The continental breakfast was very generous. A TV was located in a small gathering room. You...

Stayed here on our overnight visit to Machu Picchu. Great location on the "main street" between the town square and the hot springs. It's an uphill walk but hey, that's why we came, to hike. They offer free breakfast but we slept in and missed it. Booked the room with a view. We enjoyed it. Clean, sparse room with comfy...

The stay at this hotel cost me a bunch of US $ 140 for a double room!!! Before going to Peru I booked a double room at Inti Orquideas. Upon arrival to Aquas Calientes a representative of Grupo Inti met us at the Rail Station and saw us off to Inti Orquideas. Everything is done on foot. There are no...

Highest "economy" recommendation without hesitation. Don't expect Marriott service at Motel 6 prices. This was a great place to stay in Aguas Calientes. There are much more expensive places to stay, but if you're going to spend extra money, stay at the Lodge up right next to Machu Picchu like we did for 2 nights. After spending 2 nights and...
