Lovely room decorations, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and help us with directions. Breakfast had fresh cut fruits and local warm bead. Great location walk distance to the spring water place and close to stores and restaurants. I'll come back again.

We spent 2 nights and had 3 rooms a Hotel La Cabana in Aguas Calientes. We were arriving separately, hubby and me from Peru Rail and 3 adult children from the Salkantay Trek. We were upgraded to a beautiful top floor room. It's quite a view! There's a lot of construction and lots of laundry hanging to dry everywhere you...

We stayed here for 1 night after our 4 day trek and before our trip to Machu Picchu. Situated up a hill off the main drag you would be forgiven for thinking this hotel would have been peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately it was right next to a building where works were being carried out so the sound of banging and...

I will stay in Hotel la cabana again next time I visit Machu Picchu. The main reason why I will stay again in this hotel is because the customer service is beyond expected. Every single employee was willing to help and they even waited for me at the train station to take us to the hotel. The hotel is very...

I had very mixed feelings about this hotel... The hotel was clean and the service outstanding and helpful. That said, the rooms are small and the hotel was very noisy. The noise dies down about 10 p.m. then picks back up about 4 a.m. with the folks trying to catch the early buses to Machu Picchu. The bathroom sink only...

We were surprised by this hotel. It was booked through with our tour and was the cheapest option, but it delivered. Comfortables beds, hot showers with good pressure after a day of trekking the Inca trail and prepared breakfast for our early morning make this place a real winner. Lovely staff to top it all off!

Aguas Callientes is an interesting little tourist town, but La Cabana is a nice escape from the relentless sales touts. It seems like one of the nicer hotels in town. It was sold out even though it was the shoulder season, and we were given the "suite" on the top floor. It was a large, clean room with a very...

Great hotel in the middle of town. Lots of restaurants to choose from and some were suprisingly modern. Also convenient to the bus and train stations. Would recommend it for any one going to Machu Picchu.

Bringing my family (6 of us) to Machu Pichu we were told we must stay a night in Aguas Calientes. In retrospect I wish I had stayed another because of the quaint village and this hotel. To be fair my partner and I were given an upgrade to a suite but the standard rooms of the other members of our...

This hotel was at the top of the hill of one of the main streets in Aquas Calientes. We were given a superb room with a huge bathroom. This was delightful as we were preparing to visit Machu Picchu the next morning. They even had complimentary bottles of water in the room.It is maybe a ten minute walk from the...
