We spent only one night at Inkaterra before leaving the next morning for Machu Picchu. The setting is spectacular overlooking the river and close to the train station. Our room was very nice, but a bit dark. No internet service in room, only in lobby/bar/restaurant areas. It was a bit chilly after dinner, but we couldn't light the fireplace as...

The property is very nice however we noticed many mistakes on our bills. It took them over an hour to fix all the mistakes during checkout and we almost missed our train! The service is extremely nice but very slow and you need to repeat yourself several times even if you speak Spanish. my brother stayed in the casita which...

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights while touring Machu Picchu. The hotel is a short walk from the center of town which allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of Aguas Calientes. The rooms are tastefully designed and the lack of television/wifi allows you to disconnect and really enjoy being on vacation. Every...

This property is remotely placed in the heavily wooded and green area near one end of the town. it is comprised of multiple buildings, spread out amongst the greenery, with separate locations for the front desk, lobby, restaurant, bar, spa, shops, eco-tour guides, and gardens. The rooms are in multi-unit casitas, spread around the property. The staff was very welcoming...

Absolutely the best hotel in Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes.. Not just a place to sleep or stay over when visiting & touring Machu Picchu, but really a destination on its own. So much charm and atmosphere. The decoration is all done in authentic Peruvian style and textiles. The grounds themselves are an environment to enjoy. Natural creeks run all through...

Excellent hotel located in the middle of the jungle in Aguas Calientes. The service is unreal with the meet and greet at the train station. The rooms are so lovely and fit in nicely with the surroundings. The hot tub and sauna were great after a big day of exploring Machu Picchu! The food in the restaurant was exquisite

What a wonderful stay and surroundings. Yes, it helped that we got married there(!) and we were told that we were the first couple to actually get married on their grounds, Andean Shaman ceremony of course! Arrangements for the event were handled via email so of course we were a little anxious when we arrived. The staff could not have...

Very beautiful place. If you have time, go to the Ecotour and find out what they have in store for your day trip! The surrounding is like a park and it has a great nature feel. The dining area is also very beautiful and offers good dinner selection. The staff provide excellent service. Our room has a fireplace but the...

In Inkaterra's case not so much a cliche but all too true for the major part of our stay. We arrived from Machu Pichu, which unless you have the agility of a mountain goat, is challenging and exhausting - but I hasten to add well worth the effort. The staff at the Inkaterra check in were welcoming but the emphasis seemed...

This is a great hotel and would get 5 stars, except for the price. The people who work here are great and attentive. We did receive an upgrade to a room with a fireplace, which was nice.
