Lilygate always mange to please with excellent hospitality, very friendly staff ready to help resolve non standard requests and make one feel welcome & relaxed.

Food is delicious and always with attention from the chef, ensuring customer requests & requirements are attended to - excellent Indian cuisine. No need to look any further in Lagos.

One of the best hotel services, I have experienced. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was exceptionally clean and beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The services were consistent for the 5 nights we were there.

I just want to recommend that you review the buffet provided. Few of the food did not look or taste fresh, though the options for breakfast and dinner seemed bountiful. I had an episode of stomach upset on the 5th day. On the 4th day, there was a little embarrassment caused by the kitchen staff demanding to have us pay for breakfast when it was already paid for when the room was booked. I am also grateful that the issue was addressed by the reception promptly. I hope you bring all your staffs up to date on who pays or do not pay for breakfast. Please may I suggest to have ordered lunch less spicy, by default. At times, the lunch ordered for room services had no taste other than the hot spice.

My next visit to Lagos, we definitely be at Lilygate and I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This is my third time visit to Lilygate Hotel lagos and it get better every year I come. have worked as front office in hotels amsterdam and I can confirm that this hotel deserves a 4/5 star award! The hotel has very nice and lovely staff from the most basic doorman to the managers they are so friendly and welcoming!! The really cared about me and my stay in the hotel. I feel very at home overhere!

Itss so cute to wake up every morning and see all those lovely faces with big smiles waiting for me at the breakfast and dinner. The food is amazingg!! There is amazing indian chef that can cook indian food and mexican/american food as well as the nigerian food everything was very great. The buffet variate everyday which makes you not to get bored of the food same as the breakfast buffet.

My girll from the live band every friday and saturday is an angel!! Her voice seriously made me forget any worrie .. she blowed me away every weekend with her whitney Houston and celin dion kindda voice .. the pool area and pool party are a nice get away if you dont want to get out from the hotel. Thank you efe and christine and everybody else for making me have a wonderfull stay!!

The drinks from the bar and the cocktails very good aswell!! The hotel is nearby all the good “highclass” bars / shops / nightlife but also the regular kind of shops and restaurants. In less than 500M away !!

Everything is really wonderfull !!

Greeting from whitewoman from Amsterdam Saskia! I will come back and have my stay overhere forever!

The wifi is excellend for netflix and youtube btw !! Thank you Julian for this wonderfull hotel and for having us!!

To sum it up - This hotel is appalling. I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and regretted it ever since I arrived.

Customer Service
Initially, the hotel looks very nice however they lack customer service. For example, I've ordered food a few times from my room and they'd call me back 20 minutes after I ordered to tell me it was unavailable - bear in mind most things were unavailable then the food took a further 40 minutes to arrive. I called room service for an iron and after 30 minutes, no one brought it so I had to call and remind them, and again I never received it. Also, the workers here weren't very friendly, they seemed reluctant to do things. However, I can say the doormen and security guards were always polite and helpful.

Room
The bed is a nice size for 2 and the Superior room gives a presidential feel which is nice. However, the bathroom was dated. There was no toilet brush and we had to be asked countless times to change our towels every day. They seemed reluctant to do so and even told me 'No' a few times. The towels also didn't smell fresh. They did give 2 water bottles every day which was nice. Some of the plugs/switches didn't work and when I put in my charger it made a hissing sound. Our room key also didn't work the first 2 days I stayed over so I had to wait in the reception to be escorted to my room every time. The lights in our room are very dim and randomly switched off. Many didn't turn on when we turned the switch on. Lastly, mysterious water was dripping from one of the lightbulbs for a few days. They said it was water from upstairs but failed to give extra information. Was it toilet water? Washing water? The pipes? We had to pester them for days for them to finally get an electrician to fix the issue. We asked to cancel the reservation completely since there were a few things wrong with the room and they had difficulty doing so, so we asked for a room upgrade which a receptionist said was okay. Instead of a room upgrade, they showed us the same Superior room but smaller. We were so fed up that we decided to just stay because what was the point of moving to a smaller room?

Food
The breakfast buffet does have a range of options however I wish there was more fruit. Food after breakfast is hard to order because most things are unavailable and take forever to come. Food was mediocre.

Facilities
There's a pool and gym so that's nice.

Overall, there was a lack of hospitality. I am very disappointed as I was recommended this place but I can't seem to even like it. The 2 stars are for the polite and helpful door and gates men and how the entrance of the hotel looked. Do not come here - it is not 4/5 stars

I stayed here 7 months ago For my wedding, I rented the suite for me and my girls and another room to stay with my husband afterwards.

The lighting in the room was so poor that all the pictures I took in the room came out dark. Nobody could put on makeup with just room light. Also the bathroom needs work, the ground was literally flooded after just 1 shower. Despite the fact that i had to pay extra money to take pictures on the premises, the lights were out in the lobby right before we started taking pictures and again the pictures came out dark. That was the most upseting. There was a few other issues with not getting breakfast on the 2 days we stayed there, but the manager apologised.

Pros: polite and responsive customer service( but my pictures were still dark), beautiful lobby and a decent room.

Lilygate hotel is a hotel, beautiful and comfortable as advertised. As a guest, I had 100% value for money. It is Located in a serene neighborhood in Lekki with proximity to transportation, supermarkets, eateries and basically every other amenities one would need to feel comfortable away from home. It has an equipped gym, family friendly swimming pool, spa, concierge, tasty meals, VERY friendly staff, nice room decor and very efficient housekeeping. It is a hotel that can cater to both business travelers and vacationers. I would totally recommend lilygate hotel.

Loved the place. The staff are super friendly and engaging, and always trying to give you a feel of Nigeria and home at the same time. Shout out to Blessing, Hellen, Christiana and the best of them all de oga, de boss, Mr.chairman himself a certain Mr. Sunday. That dude deserves a raise(I'm talking to you management, yes you).
Superb restaurant. The breakfast is enough to feed a village hehehehe and the beef steak is to die for. With all that, they even give you a chance to burn the extra calories you get from too much pampering in a state of the art gym...add a little swimming in there.
They maintain a lovely ambience for chill music on all days with a live band over the weekends.
They got over 60Mbps of WIFI speeds(That isht fast as hell)
Basically, you have literally everything under one roof.

Nice staff and very friendly.
Buffet food all spicy so be prepared if you can’t eat spicy.

My first time to stay at the Lilygate. I stayed for 5 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very competent, attentive and cheerful. The manager is a lady named Chineri (sp) who was very pleasant and promptly attended to all requests. They have a well-appointed gym with weight machines and treadmills and an outdoor pool next to the restaurant, with a lounging area and poolside services. The rooms are adequate and well-maintained. I had a single room which was okay for my needs, but it would be a bit cramped for more than 1 or 2 people. It has a free breakfast buffet and has a full restaurant and bar. The Hotel was built in 2014 and still has a new feel to it. Its in Lekki Phase 1 not far from the Lekki-Ikoye bridge, and a very pleasant place to stay for a business trip. I recommend it.

Excellent customer service...the Reception staff are so welcoming and well-trained. The Restaurant staff are helpful and professional.
Love the central location of the hotel within Lekki Phase 1. It's close to major access road, shops, food and night life.
The general ambience and energy of the reception and restaurant area especially during buffets is awesome!
The buffet meals are tasty and made with a hint of home cooking.
Comfortable rooms with good housekeeping.
Spa massage was great!
