Detailed Reviews

This hotel is located at the end of a cul de sac street, In the VIctoria island region of Lagos. It is very aesthetically appealing with open lawn gardens and paved patio areas. Very Spanish terracotta feel to it. The reception is decorated to a good standard with modern stylish décor. My room was a deluxe and was just perfect in size, I had a desk and comfy chair so was able to use my laptop. The hotel has a restaurant and separate bar there is also a lounge/seating area on the roof top terrace.
The food here is ace, had the best pounded yam and egusi I have ever tasted In all my trips to lagos. The waiter that served me chapman didn't actually know how to make it. A good chapman should be blood orange, what I was served was more of a black current cordial which was far too sweet.
Wifi was good but timed out after extended periods so you have to enter your guest user name and password again.

The cotton Suites hotel is located at the end of a dead end road and is secluded in the busy part of the city. It is convenient for business trip as my business trip to NETCO is a short distant away.
To enter the hotel ground, there is a 6 foot tall gate that shield the view of the hotel. The driver gave a horn and the security guard then open the gate to let us in. From the outside you would not know that it is a hotel thus give a sense of security.
The check in was fast as I presented a copy of my passport page and a room key was immediately given to me, no signature or filling of any forms required. I saw on the front desk that the rack rate was USD$70.
The hotel is of two stories (ground floor and first floor) and has no elevator. So my driver had to carry my two heavy suitcases up to the room and down the next day.
The bed was soft and sleeping room was adequate. There was an opened door small quarter cubic feet iron safe sitting on top of another similar iron safe that has the door locked. Strange! It must be that the top safe cannot be open so another safe just stack on top of it.
I ordered an in room service paid breakfast to be delivered at 5:00 am because I had to leave by 5:30am. The order was placed at 10pm the night before and the hotel promised that it would be delivered. However, by the time I left there was no sign of any breakfast delivery. I left the hotel and I do not know if it was charged. This is because my employer paid the bill thru their account.
The night was quite as the hotel is situated in a business area. The street immediately in front of the hotel is dark and very quiet. I do not recommend first time visitor to walk outside in the dark.

I have only positive things to say about every aspect of this hotel. From delicious food at the onsite 411 restaurant to the lush ambiance felt at my Chalet Suite. This is by far a "must go back" place. This hotel also justifies their existence by adding mood lighting, dark wallpaper and filling the bar area with some of the most charming hip people I’ve met during my stay in Lagos.

I and my new wife picked cotton suites as hotel to stay before leaving Nigeria for our honeymoon. Them as our choice hotel was not regretted. The staffs were very friendly, I thought they were because we are newly wedded but noticed that is who they are. We enjoyed: free internet, delicious food, quite environment, security tight. Will rate them 8/10. Thumb up!!!

The surroundings is very neat and attractive. The warm welcome from the staff and the price for their suites are pocket friendly. I have visited other suites in Lagos but Cotton is among the best if not the best. I really enjoy their services and all their facilities are working well. I will surely Lodge there again whenever am in Lagos 😘

Our security arrangement is top notch with 3 able security men on guard at every point in time, 2 State Security Service (SSS) men in mufti observing security situation and 24 hour police patrol. with this arrangement we are sure of not only the quality of sleep but also absolute security of life and properties of our esteemed guest.
We have 15 rooms. Thank you.
