The Rollace hotel is a new found gem for me in Lagos, Ikeja Nigeria. I found this place by sheer luck on Booking.com and i have to say it was the Best choice yet. The welcome i received from Jessie at the front desk blew me away, when on entering I was addressed by name, that made me know that special effort was being made to make me feel at home. The staff was so courteous, the place extremely clean, the room was exceptionally large and truly exceeded my expectations, a livingroom area with a sofa set, a separate dining area with a washroom, and a spacious bathroom. The bed, linen and pillows provided the most comfortable sleep. The chef makes the most Scrumptious meals and his menus cannot be challenged. The Rollace fish, so tasty and decorated with vegetables and fries is a sell off. Next from the bar is the Very Berry smoothie, that's to die for. The ambience at the poolside with the best DJ ever can only be experienced. Thanks to Dan who meticulously made sure the guests meals were served in a timely manner, and to Michael our server who was so attentive.

The hotel officials are very efficient. The guy at the entrance was quick to collect my belongings and the cleaning service did their jobs well. They put on nose masks at all times while cleaning my room. Their hospitality during my stay was to notch. Would definitely visit again.

I went there for dinner and i really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The food was fresh and delicious and the best part was the ROLLACE PLATTER that i ordered. It was one of a kind and ive never forgotten how good it tasted. I and my friends were delighted.”

The environment is very conducive and charming. I loved their variety of quality dishes. I had an issue with my reservation and I thought it would cause problems but it was sorted quickly. I would highly recommend especially for those that have trouble meeting up with flight times.

Pretty good place to be at😍. Good food, the pool is just soothing. It's a fun place to be at with your family and also enjoy a stay-cation, had a tour of the casino and God my money goes to that place!! Giving Vegas in Nigeria.💚

Rollace hotel has such a classy and beautiful environment. The room interiors are so beautiful. The workers are so polite too. Tasty and delicious meals were also served definitely going back there. They have a very beautiful swimming pool setting with very good landscape.

Amazing ambience, great customer service. Had a great time during my stay. They were prompt in attending to all our needs. My wife keeps saying we have to go back again for relaxation and I definitely second that motion.

what an excellent service i got @ Rollace Hotel from their room service to porters, kitchen to barmen to waiters to their management staffs to their receptionist, they are all professionals in their field of play.

Caveat Emptor Pros: The good things about this hotel are some of the employees were pleasant when I encountered them – a young lady at the registration desk, and a few of the restaurant workers. The hotel is gated giving some feeling of security. Cons: We stayed in a suite – we were 3 adults in a room that had capacity for 4 people. During registration, I was told that only 2 people could eat at the buffet breakfast and if I wanted a 3rd person to be served that would cost an additional N8K… the suite we stayed in cost N100K per night. I was informed by the front desk manager about how this policy made sense… but not published on their website. Day 1 - we left for the whole day. The room was not cleaned. There is nothing (card to put on doorknob) to communicate with the staff to clean or not clean. After I mentioned this miss to the staff, they told me that I have to inform front desk staff when leaving the hotel if I want my room to be cleaned. After that I would write a note by hand and stick it to the door to leave a message for housekeeping. Complimentary Buffet - the same items were served everyday, with one big loaf of bread that is as hard as rock… I guess they don’t really want people to eat it. We are in Lagos for the love of God… there was no Agege bread in sight. Basic condiment like butter was finished day 4 of our 7 day stay and was not replenished until we left. I arrived at breakfast one morning around 9:40am, and there were just crumbs of eggs left in the chafing dish. I asked the lady behind the counter that I would like eggs and she said that the eggs are finished. I asked for the manager … he came out to tell me that yes, eggs were finished. After I gave him a look to say “are you serious” … they went back to fry eggs.
I requested bedding and pillows to go with the sleep sofa. The young man (Emeka) working in housekeeping insisted that we should use the sofa cushions as pillows and only 4 pillows per room. I asked repeated over the course of 3 days… spoke to 2 managers, and we were never given extra pillows. Bedsheets were provided. I also asked for extra towels and again I was told only 2 towels per room… after calling the front desk, the additional towel was provided.
Day 5 of our visit, my daughter went to the pool. The staff told her to go back to her room on the 3rd floor to get her towel. Towels were not being provided at pool side. I guess there’s a risk of guests making off with pool towels
The battery operated safe didn’t open. I called maintenance to fix it. The guy at first smirked at my inability to open the safe. Then he fiddled with it, and then went to get his “tools”. He came back and informed me after fidgeting some more with the safe that there is a problem with. He advised me to leave my items locked in the safe and the hotel has a master key… I should tell him when we are leaving and he will come back and open the safe. I said SURE … because I was born yesterday. After that encounter, I decided not to ask the hotel for anymore service until we left.
I booked the stay at this hotel at a friend’s recommendation. After my experience, I wish I didn’t and I hope this review helps someone out there.
