Cheap hostel but: No kitchen (as announced in hostelworld) and no lockers (as announced on hostelworld). We had to stay in a doublebed instead of 2 dormbeds for the same price. at night it is quite loud due to bars in the area. Way better and even cheaper hostels in moyogalpa right down the street.

Thus has been the worst hostel we've stayed in throughout out trip in Central America. My girlfriend and I landed on the island and came to this hostel for 3 nights. The room that we rented apparently has windows adjacent to where a family who also lives in the building likes to hang out. This "window" is just screen so...

Quaint little hostel in the main town of Ometepe! Really nice owner who organised a great volcano tour for me and my partner, as well as hooking us up with bikes for a really good price! Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the price was really cheap. Great stay :)

This hostel offers scooter rental, but several locals strongly advised us NOT to rent with them, as they charge you for every little piece of damage that they can, even if the damage is pre-existing and not your fault. If you rent with them, take lots of really good photos of the bike before you take it away from the...

The hostel is ok but during 2 days we didn't have any gas so impossible to cook, 2 days seem long to change the gas bottle. Nothing good and bad either from this hostel BUT don't rent anything from them like motorbikes (from the shop in Moyogalpa in the front of the green supermarket called Pali) . They charged me...

Dorm room absolutely riddled with bedbugs. Impossible for owner not to know as blatant poo stains on the sheets. Avoid at all costs. Went back having left hostel before our stay was finished as I forgot something. Beds had been made up fresh for next victims, despite us peeling back sheets were bedbugs lay. Dorm room 7 dollars a night,...

This is a really nice hostel with a helpfull staff. It feels very cosy and familiar. We used the kitchen to prepare our own meals. The rooms are good! There are only a lot of mosquitos during the day and night, so better wear long clothes and bring your own mosquitonet.

The room was clean and ok, but the owner charged me double price (!!) when checking out at 1pm. I admit 1pm was late, but checkout times were never communicated and the owner was cleary after just making as much extra money as possible.

The place was dead and we didnt felt comfortable at all with the staff. Also dont rent the scooters there. Bad experience. Go to...

it would be wise to listen to the previous negative comments about the owner. he appears to be a nice guy and freindly at first, and will continue to be as long as you pay for all his overpiced services, but if there is ever a small issue he will become deceitful and accusing. i used the kitchen to cook...
