We stayed 2 nights in a room for 2. The hostel is well situated in the middle of the two volcanoes, with rooms at 2 min of the beach. But the rooms are not very pleasant, bad beds, the tap didn't work, the staff was not friendly. We have eaten breakfast and dinner in the restaurant around (comedor Gloriana and...

I can't say enough terrible things about this place. We checked in - I had booked the room on booking.com and I booked the only option that was available for 2 people who wanted separate beds. They brought us to a dank room with boarded over windows and took the air conditioning remote with them. I asked for it back...

This hotel is nicely located on a sandy stretch of beach. It can get quite windy, specially in the evenings and mornings. Although it is not a perfect beach for swimmers (waves and murky water) you can enjoy having taking a dip. The hotel has a pleasant restaurant with a decent menu that is reasonably priced. The rooms in the...

We stayed at Hotel Finca for four nights recently. We were traveling with another couple and both of us booked air-conditioned rooms. Our larger room had two opaque windows, however our friend's smaller room had only one screened window that closed with wooden shutters, giving the room a claustrophobic feel. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Both bathrooms had cold water...

We spent two nights in the budget room- $30 for two beds and a bathroom. We ended up in a room with A/C (which was a pleasant surprise). But we never turned it on because we never got hot, especially with all the wind. The room is extremely simple. Two beds, a sheet, desk + chair, lightbulb, and bathroom. There...

The location was great. Room not so good. Dirty, mouldy and horrible beds! Waiters very nice, food decent. Hotel didn't offer to help find anything on the island to do. They could improve the rooms and tourist information and would be a great place!

We stayed here for 2 nights while travelling Nicaragua as a treat for my birthday. The place is presented extremely well, very tidy, the staff are well dressed, and the rooms look beautiful (especially with the towels folded like hearts on the bed) But given all this and the slightly higher price bracket for accommodation and food ($30 per night...

I think it is a good option to stay in Ometepe. It is located just in front of the beach and it offers a good restaurant with good food. It is a bit far from the main town, probably about an hour by motorcycle. There is a vegetarian restaurant just a couple of meters away from the hotel (Natural Restaurant)
