A very well run hotel. Breakfast in the sun was a real highlight. Zaid, the proprietor, is extremely helpful and on the ball. He arranged my camel trip to sleep out in a Berber tent, which was a magnificent experience. My guide, Mohamed, was super. One thing that stands out is that he was clearly not happy that I was...

Hassan is very friendly and speeks english. The price is great, 100DH for one night of 5 person on an autocaravan, including WC with hot water and electricity. Doens't include meals, breakfast or dinner. From here you can book a camel tour to Erg Chebbyi that starts on the hostel entrance. We have booked for 6 a.m. to see the...

On my first visit to Morocco, with a small group tour, I stayed at Le Petit Prince in Merzouga. Now a temporary resident I have visited Merzouga several times, and even though the hotels, kasbahs and dars in the area are quite lovely, I always stay at the auberge. Situated at the edge of the Erg Chebbi and run by...

Merzouga is a dusty little village without much going on except for the incredibly gorgeous Erg Chebbi dunes. Arriving by bus late at night, I was overjoyed to find the guys from the Auberge right there waiting for me as I stepped off the bus. The friendly accommodations continued through my entire stay. I stayed one night in the holel...

Really all the staff are wonderful and kind. We travelled to the Auberge in a rented car from Marrakech and we had great directions from Moha and it was all easy...

Well with the overwhelming choice of operators we followed tripadvisors recommendation and were not disappointed. We stayed 2 nights in the auberge in nice ensuite room, enjoyed buffet breakfast and friendly service from Hassan. For one sunset we climbed the big nearby sand dune and had great views, worth the hard work getting up there. Merzouga itself is a pretty...

Very warm welcome and fantastic staff. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and this Auberge is the perfect place to start your trip in the desert. We did not spent the night at the Auberge, as we had an overnight stay in the desert. Coming back in the morning from the desert, breakfast was served...

I stayed at this hostel through Moha Aventura who arranged my camel trip and he also runs this place. Very friendly and lovely staff, cool place and I was very happy with the camel trip they arranged. I took the bus from Marrakech and arrived at 9 pm at night and found someone waiting for me at the bus station...
