We went to the Hotel Kasbah Mohayut in Merzouga on the recommendation from another hotelier in the Todra Gorges. Without a reservation, the receptionist offered a choice of room. We picked the tent dune room – which is actually a small, 2 rooms unit right at the edge of the sand dunes, detached from the main hotel. From one bed,...

Pretty place, wonderful decorated, professionel staff. A short walk to the sand dunes. Stayed in january and the room and restaurant were nice heated. Wi-fi working everywhere and also fast. Great atmosphere. Food also good. Feels like being a part of 1000 and one night.

Although our night in the desert wasn't arranged by this hotel, they contributed to making our stay in Merzouga a memorable experience. Our cozy room (number 3) with, what my husband said is the best shower in Morocco, had a problem with the heat. They offered to change rooms or bring in a heater. Since we had already made ourselves...

We stayed in this hotel for one night and then camped on the dunes the second night following a sunset camel trek. The food was excellent and just kept coming. Big buffet breakfast after returning from camping on the dunes was most welcome. Quirky rooms. Great mud architecture. Friendly staff. Kindly washed a couple of bags of laundry and refused...

We didn't actually stay at the hotel but a camel trip to a dessert camp organised by Mohayut was part of our organised itinerary. The trip consists of an 1,5 hour camel trip to a camp a few hundred meters into the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, a stay in a 'berber tent', afternoon and morning tea, a meal and some...

This was an exquisite hotel, right by Erg Chebbi. There is a pool that is wonderful to lounge by. The rooms are simple, clean, and quite spacious. There is an outdoor area with dining tables that are separated by low iron gates, that is very pleasant and romantic o dine. We did not have a dinner buffet (yay!), but instead...

Everywhere I looked during our two nights (not counting the excellent night in the desert itself) there were lovely touches and appealing design, from the old Berber pottery in the shelves by the pool, to the mirrors to the framed snippets of antique carpets. The lounging areas were very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. I loved the reading light...

We stayed there for three nights on a Geo-Safari 3 weeks ago. What a lovely place this is, lovely big rooms, beautiful pool area, clean, friendly staff, fab food .... the best place we stayed at in the country. I would love to stay again, but it's not exactly on the way to anywhere!

Favourite part without a doubt of our Morocco trip. It was a bit hard to find the place as I did not believe our GPS at first when it told us to turn left off the road into sand, But we eventually made it. Room was huge and spacious, great private rooftop terrace overlooking sandunes on the edge of the...
