I and my friend stayed for 2 nights. (One night at hostel and the other day at desert). When we arrived at Merzouga bus station, Said who is the owner of the hostel came out to meet us. We didn't need to hang about to find our hostel at night thanks to him. He gave us the biggest room even...

The Riad Aicha is a great place to calm down, enjoy a relaxing time on the terrace, eat real Moroccan food and be hosted by wonderful people who speak English, German, Spanish, Berber, Arabic and a bit of Japanese. Thank you, Ibrahim and crew for the great Sahara experience and your kindness:-)

I stayed 3 nights (2 in the desert), and I can only thank Riad Aicha for such a warm hospitality. Absolutely welcoming, genuine and generous, I absolutely recommend this place if you consider visiting Erg Chebbi dunes and Merzouga Desert.

A lovely little Riad north of Merzouga, with nice rooms and great service. A perfect starting point for a trip into the desert. The owner was great with communications before our arrival. We used Riad Aicha for our desert camp trip as well and it was great. The guide/cook/waiter/entertainer was hilarious and speaks maybe 17 languages. A great find -...

I had no reservation for the nights I stayed with Ibrahim as I was travelling by car from Fes and did not want to book anything in case I got delayed somewhere. I arrived at Erfoud which is not far from Hassi Labied where Riad Aicha is located but I didn't like the place and drove on. I took the...

A comfortable inn in a small village outside Merzouga. It is situated just a 5-minute walk away from a lovely date palm grove and the tallest dune in the Erg Chebbi desert. Ibrahim was a wonderfully engaging host who wrapped us up in full Tuareg-style scarfs before we hiked up the dune to watch sunset. Suggest you ask Ibrahim to...
